Peru bowed his head- he now understood- this being was mad! Oh no!! Peru burst into a sad sorrowful song so loud there was no way he could have produced it. He was sorry so sorry, he only meant to play!

Zippo nodded. The chicken understood that he was in trouble of being roast and eaten alive; very good. He hopped up onto the banister and patted Peru's head with a friendlier warble. "Iisokai, chikiin. Yuu purei rafu, ya?"

Peru landed on his little feathered toosh. Hopping up and following his nose he'd beeline for the kitchen, "Peep?" Perhaps his new friend liked bread too!

Scampering after Peru, Zippo skidded some on the linoleum, scrabbling back to rights as he got into the kitchen. "Yuu hangurii?"

Peru hopped up and peeped. After following around his new lovey dovey all night while his mother was resting Peru had forgotten to get any grain. He was starving! Peru would turn his head to the side...perhaps a bread cart or an easy to climb counter?

Zippo warbled curiously, leaping onto the counter top with a single leap, then onto a cabinet handle and kicking off, opening the cupboard and kicking out a bag of granola. "Deiya! Chikii raiku guranora."

Senpai came downstairs, muttering softly about this and that- pausing in mid step on the stairs... were those scorched bird feet in the banister? Senpai ran the good hand over the indent, "this gives me not a single hint if these are Peru's."

Zulma raised her head when she heard footsteps. She recognized Senpai whom she had met with the little bird.
"Hello there!" She waved happily. "Are you alone today?" she asked looking around and not spotting the little Peru.

Senpai jumped- not having seen the blonde woman. Catching breath, Senpai gave a smile, "Good morning, Zulma."
Senpai's hand returned to the bannister, "Peru seems to have escaped my watch. And cause a small amount of damage to the banister..."
Looking around Senpai realized there were chick prints in the floor as well, "and the floor." Walking down the stairs, Senpai pulled a egg sized ruby from a hidden pocket and offered it to Zulma, "For the damages."
