"And there's not a problem with that at all!"

He held up three fingers, floating up to an agreeable distance away from her face.

"But most importantly... question three."

There was a serious moment on his face, the weight of the world on the next question.

"...I require assistance with the ice cream machine."

"No, no, THIS one!"

He flitted over to the Zurg machine, letting out a tiny wail as he hugged it.

"Zippo told me that this was what gave out the ice cream, but... I don't know how to get it ouuuuuut."

"Thank youuu!"

The pixie swooped down upon the ice cream, his hands so small that he was able to scoop out a good amount of ice cream the size of his fist and gulp it down in one swift motion. He licked his lips, giving out a sigh of satisfaction.

"Ahh~!"

Bure washed his hands clean, then flew up to Lin, giving her cheek a brief hug.

"I like you Lin!"

He then proceeded back down, sitting on the brim of the cup and continuing his feast.

Bure had stuffed a small bit of ice cream into a cheek, similar to a chipmunk. He smiled up to Lin,waving her down.

"It's 'cuz I eat ice cream maybe! Just kidding, haha!"

The pixie finished all up but a small section at the bottom. He lay sprawled out, a bit of ice cream still on his face.

"Maaaan... I like ice cream, y'know? I don't think I could move now!... ugh."

He rolled over onto his stomach, looking up at Lin.

"So... which are you leaning towards? The tree, I mean."

Tyler appeared in his room in a flash of light, setting down a couple bags of non-perishable groceries. It had taken most of the night to make sure all the loose ends were tied up before leaving. Max was tending to JIM, Mal knew what to do by now with Kasdeya, Orrin and Charlotte would soon take place as substitute Innkeepers...all of his technology was secure.

"And almost packed. Not bad, for an impromptu trip," he muttered to himself, finding room in the backpack for the snacks he had just picked up. It had been a long time since he went camping...this could be nice. He glanced sideways at a picture: he and Stacy on vacation. He remembered their reconciliation back in February...the one where almost literally nothing came after. Another three months with practically no contact outside of a quick e-mail or text message.

Fool me once, shame on you... He thought bitterly, putting it face down on the dresser and finishing his packing.

Lin blinked. "I don't know." she whispered, thoughtful herself. "How about you? What would you choose?" she asked.






Zulma trotted back from her farewell with Gren, a tear at the corner of her eye had dried quickly. She waved at Bure and Lin and crouched by her bag next to the front door. She double checked that she had not forgotten anything then she added the lunch Gren made for her and Tyler.
She was starting wondering where he was. She remembered her discussion with Gren about who Tyler was. Yes they would discover each other during the trip but would they like what they found? She shook her head. They were going for Mal, no other reason.

Malachai pouted, watching Zulma run about. Guilt was not a familiar sensation, but he figured this was probably it. He peered over the back of a couch, hiding behind the cushions, tail waving.
