Senpai stared, "I'm hopeless when it comes to this...new technology... would you...know how to make hot oolong tea?" Senpai was embarrassed but it would be nigh impossible to tell.

After a moment, it began to fill with hot oolong tea, as requested. "Most people who have not been here long are bewildered by the thing...however, it has proven incredibly useful. It also does ice cream, now."

Senpai watched in delight- maroon eye half open, "Where I am from nothing in this kitchen beyond the simple pots and pans are around.... ." Senpai waited but was unsure of when to take the tea, waiting a few minutes after it finished just to be sure, the good hand took the cup and saucer. "does this marvel also make sandwiches?" Peru fluttered off Senpai's shoulder and scuttled to find Charlotte. He liked her- not as much as his lovey dovey...Peru twittered and fluffed, he missed the lovey dovey. "Peeep."

She scratched Peru, smiling, offering a handful of sunflower seed from her pocket.

"There are a couple patrons of the Inn who would be sorely disappointed were they to rely on a machine for sandwiches," Orrin laughed, remembering the animated firebird as well as their fair share of chefs and amateur cooks. He sipped the hibiscus tea, puckering slightly as he realized what he had forgotten. "Needs honey..."

Peru twittered and fluttered his wings, accepting the seed with passion and little happy songs. Peru liked this human so much! "Preee."
Senpai smiled, though it could not be seen, "I thank you...I will have to study on these things...if I am to stay." Senpai would find a seat and carefully sipped at the tea as not to expose what lay beneath the scarf. "Ah...just right."

Orrin blinked, expression softening into a smile as he returned the favor. "As sweet as it is, it does little for the tea. I'll be right back." He crossed the kitchen, seeking out some sweetener. Not a lot...just something to take the tart edge off the blend.
