Upstairs, Adam knocked at Enta's door, smiling hopefully over a small bouquet of foxglove.
Malachai's tail lashed as he frowned at the recipe book. "I don't know some of these words."

"Oh, not at all," Orrin beamed. "There is, actually, a particularly joyful girl here whose karmic balance is relatively low. She utilizes it often, but she has never accrued any karmic debt because she earns it back just as easily. Deep karmic debts come with their own collection terms..."
He finished, the two plates side by side. "Ah, there we go...! It looks like about a clean five thousand. Not bad."

Stella nodded...it sounded a bit lower than some of her agents. Then again, they had been saving lives on a relatively regular basis. Plenty of chances to rack up points.

"I can return this to you whenever you like..."
"It's going to be his focus...I'm apparently supposed to teach him magic this weekend," Stella said with a smile. "The guy's got a bunch of energy and nothing to do with it."
