Lin blinked several times. He? she was puzzled. Gren was married to a man? She looked down at her glass. She was not the type to condemn but she was taken aback a little, especially by the fact that he had not corrected her and let her call his ... husband a wife.
"I see." she said very quietly. "It seems that I should be thinking more before speaking out today. Forgive me, I did not mean any disrespect to either of you Mister Gren." she said with another bow.

Azana enjoyed her popsicle, watching one of the more formal people she had seen in the Inn. "Seriously, they have great humor about the whole thing. Kinda funny, though...all of us in the Inn. Only four of us married, and it's to each other. Have you met my husband, Lin? Tall guy, winning smile, sunglasses?"

Gren hummed, sipping his tea. "Az, think it'll be okay if I make tracks for a few days, maybe a week?"

"Of course!" Azana smiled. "The Inn's in really good hands. I made sure of it." She finished off the popsicle, wrapping the stick in the wrapper and setting it aside. She'd throw it away when she next got up. "Hot out there...hope you plan on going someplace cool."

"I asked Orrin and Charlotte to tend to the Inn while the Innkeepers are away," Azana said, smiling. "The two of them could handle, well, just about anything, I think. And if he's on business, I'll happily help you in offing him."

Enta nodded, looking slightly worried, and took up the pastry bag to demonstrate.
