Ah, there it was. Adam gulped, smiling bravely for Enta, and stepped out after Felix with a silent gulp.
Malachai watched Enta, rapt at attention. "I have no idea what a leaf tip is." he said cheerfully.

Enta offered a smile in return, watching them go. He turned back to Mal. "A leaf tip is this." he said, showing Mal the metal tip with the narrow opening.
Felix sat down, gesturing for Adam to do the same, "I'm sure you know that I am uncomfortable with Enta getting into a relationship with anybody."

He nodded, closing his eyes with a sigh. "I'm willing to accept that punishment, or whatever you see fit. But I haven't a plan beyond taking him out for dinner, becoming his friend, and in time, should I be lucky, his sweetheart. Not too fast, nothing too sudden. I want to be his friend as well."
"Whoaaaaaaa!" said Mal, sitting up. "How did you do that? Was that magic?"

Peru chirped and cuddled up to the petter. Then began to nom at the noggin of the petter. Someone feed me! I'm a poor little fire producing chick who has been left alone by the surrogate parent for more than a day!
