Kassadin bowed to all of them, the kitten jumping out his arms and running away as soon as it saw something. He made a sound like a cut off moan dying down.
"IIIIIt toooook meeee foreeeeeveeeer toooo geeeet thaaaat kiiiitteeeen tooooo liiiike meeee..."

Jeff was still not trusting him entirely, kitten or no kitten but he waved slightly when the man bowed and turned back to Zippo guarding Devin. The adolescent petted the chibi. "It's okay." he said to both little ones and winked at them to calm them down.
Lin bowed at the creature, still very impressed. She was glad that she was not alone when he arrived and that both Gren and Jeff were there.

"Seriously, though...I liked the Ishida look, but this works for you!" Max beamed as she walked in first. "They'll love it!" Sosol strolled in afterwards, sporting a new cut and a self-consciously nervous smile as he looked around, momentarily ignoring the intimidating (but surprisingly gentle) being in the middle of the attention.

Zippo wiggled his toes with a warble, smiling. Big things with kittens were all right.
"Hey, Sol...nice haircut." waved Gren. "Hi Max, long time no see...We have some new guests." He nodded to the violetly-glowing behemoth and Devin in the corner, guarded by Zippo.

Lin slowly slid down from her seat and bowed at them, her legs still a little shaky. So that man was Azana's husband?

"Told ya!" Max beamed, practically skipping across the floor to hug Gren around the waist. Lightly, she remembered. "I know, right? A lotta Memorial Day stuff...even went all checkered flag for an Indy 500 party! Then I bumped into Sol and got a craving for a makeover! Oh...um, who's the big glowy guy?"
Sosol calmed down a little, nodding in gratitude to Gren before he caught wind of a stray thought. He did have his blinders up, so to speak, but Azana's name just slipped through all of it. He identified the source quickly enough, since she was looking at him. Appraising, perhaps, or just recognizing a description.
"Hello," he greeted warmly, returning the bow with one of his own. Aikido had more than one perk, clearly.

"His name is Kassadin. He's a scientist, and has a kitten. That's about all I know." replied Gren sheepishly, hugging Max back lightly. "Glad you two had a good weekend."

The Asian woman was pleased with the greeting and she introduced herself.
"I am Lin. I have met your wife." she said politely.

"She told you about me already, I assume," he said, though it was more of a fact than anything else. "I'm Sol. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lin."
Azana strolled downstairs, smirking at what she saw. "Well, well...! Look who has a sexy new haircut."
"Totally my fault!" Max teased, letting go of Gren and looking to Kassadin. "Hm. Science dudes are mostly okay...kittens are always okay. Kassie's okay!"

Lin nodded, although she did not know much about the man himself, nor his wife as a matter of fact. "The honor is mine."
When Azana arrived, the woman stepped back politely, letting the couple talk to each other. She sat back on her chair, blinking a little upon seeing how calm Max was about the impressive scientist.
Jeff was still not convinced and he shook his head at Max's comment and nickname.

After a few compliments, and the obligatory running of fingers through it, Azana kissed him lovingly and walked off to the kitchen. "Want something while I'm in here?"
"Stealing my job? Alright...pomegranate lemonade," he said with a smile, turning his attention to Lin again. "You look like a woman with a few questions...maybe I could answer a few."
"Huh?" Max turned to the stairs, enthusiasm almost radiating as she waved. "Remy! Check him out! He glows like gravity! And Sol has a sweet haircut, too!"

Lin looked at Sosol a little confused. She wondered what made him think that she had questions for him. She slowly shook her head.
"I do not have any questions." she answered. She was not used to the warm and direct ways of the guests in this place and she did not know how to react, not wanting to be rude to the man.
