"Both it is, then..ya know I'm always up for fun. Life's too short to be too serious." Max recognized the slight one-sidedness of that statement, since Remy was kind of undead and would probably outlast her by a long shot.

Sosol chuckled, letting the lemonade begin a lap around the room in midair. "I'm an accomplished psychokinetic, for instance," he said, pointing to the lemonade's circuit. "I can serve the entire room without leaving this spot...there's a little more, but I try to refrain from using them without permission. People like to keep their thoughts private, and I respect that."

Sitting in the nearly too hot water of the bath, having recovered enough through a complete day of uninterrupted sleep. Senpai sighed and examined the clawed hand, contemplating at first a slow painful death in such a serene room. "It would be bad manners." Then focusing on the newly infected arm, "A note to be made- the second branch is moving very slowly causing consistent aching in the forearm and wrist."
Staring at the new and mildly unfamiliar reflection, "I believe it will not form the same as the initial arm," Senpai mused watching the long locks of snowy hair float atop the water, "It wasn't as painful as last time... not as bad as the first time."
Senpai stared up at the ceiling, suddenly very tired, "Peru will not come near me- will not accept grain, will not come when I call. It seems the mushi has developed a small hatred for my dearest companion."

Lin looked at the lemonade with blinking eyes then nodded.
"I have to admit that I would prefer to keep my thoughts to myself." she admitted without any fear in her eyes.
Jeff walked to the bar and sat not too far from Lin.
"Could I have just a glass of water please Sosol?" asked the adolescent.

"And there are things about others I'm much better off not seeing," Sosol echoed, remembering how sensitive he had been when he first arrived. MacPere, in particular, had a way of throwing him off-balance. Jeff's request thankfully pulled him away from those memories, and a glass filled itself from a pitcher nearby, the lemonade returning to its owner for another sip.
"All yours, Jeff," he said, setting the glass in front of the teen. "The violets are growing nicely."
"A little celebration now, and a big one for the launch." Max nodded. "So, I'm thinking ice cream."

"You're in luck on that front, Max. The Drinkamajig does ice cream now." said Gren with a smile.
Remy grinned, curious. "Aw yeah? When'd that happen?"
"Charlotte saw to it after we got a ton of requests, and we all gave it a spin to see what we all apparently taste like, according to Mal. It was a funny night." he laughed. "It tasted right, but some things just need the texture, you know?"
Remy chuckled. "I'm game for that. Max?"

Lin nodded. She would be quite uneasy if she could read other's thoughts. The idea made her think silently a moment.
Jeff flushed a little.
"Yeah yeah I know." he said then looked up the stairway. Maybe they did, but he had not seen Violet in a while and he did not know how to go talk to her. After they had gone for a walk in the orchard, she had not really given any sign of life...and he had not either.
He cleared his throat.
"Have you seen Violet lately?" he asked as casually as could be.

"I'm just glad I can block it out..." Sosol chuckled before looking to Jeff again. "Violet? Yeah...where was she going again?"
It didn't need an answer, as Violet walked into the Inn with a smile on her face and a bag of new sketchbooks. Fancy ones.
"I knew that already!" Max beamed. "Made myself an instant float a little bit back! C'mon, Remy! Betcha it can do a flavor you can taste!" She ran off for the kitchen...Kiwi-Mango, maybe?
