Jeff could feel a little bit of the tension in Violet.
"Have you been drawing something special lately?" he asked, trying to shift her mind towards something she liked doing.
The comment about ponies coming from Kassadin made him blink. He surely was a strange one!
Lin nodded. "I understand." she said calmly. It would be like trying to drink the ocean in one gulp: overwhelming.
"If I may ask, did you have those powers since birth?" she asked the black haired man.

"Precisely like that...their mind drowns in ideas and sensory input. They usually wind up passing out," Sosol explained, rubbing at the back of his neck. "Not exactly something I want on my hands. As for how long...I don't think it was quite birth, but I did develop early. My parents were very supportive of my talents; actually, I'm planning a trip to see them soon."
He glanced up to Kassadin, offering a wave. "Of course. Name's Sol...if you need anything, ask."
"Kassadin," Violet repeated, flipping the page and beginning to quickly sketch. Within a few minutes, she had the basic outlines of a pony. She held it up with a faint, twitchy grin. She glanced back to Jeff, lightly shaking a page out of her mostly-full sketchbook. It was Jeff in full armor; she had had Orrin show her some of his wares for inspiration.
Azana walked into the kitchen, pulling out a couple jars of pasta sauce. "Want some help, Max?"
"Let's rock this pasta! Oi, Remy! Mind cuttin' some veggies?" Sosol would owe her for this later...but then again, with Az helping, did it even count?
