Jeff frowned slightly when she laughed then her words puzzled him. Why would she want to be flirting with him?! Nobody ever flirted with him, even Violet who was his own age, so he truly did not know how to react.
The adolescent gave a quick glance at Lin when the colorful woman mentioned her clothes. He shrugged and was about to move away when she turned back to him calling him 'sugar'. At least she was asking for his name which would stop her from calling him the way she was.
"I am Jeff." he said. "What is your name?" he asked back.

"Good morning, Lin-san," Sosol answered her, humming in intrigue at the newcomer. Another foggy person, though it seemed this one was intentional...the only thing he could see with her were roses. Now that he thought about it...he smelled roses, too.
Almost reminds me of Laura...except she was strawberries. He shook that thought aside, letting Jeff and the new woman have their conversation.

Giving a small graceful curtsy and extending a long leather coated arm, jeweled hand poised to be taken for an old tradition, "I am Lady Tamriel duSaunde of the Borigeese Empire," terra cotta eyes looked up at him and she fluttered her long lashes, "quite a pleasure to meet you, Jeff." His name a was a kitten's purr reverberating in her slender throat.

Lin stopped by next to Sosol. "Would you mind if I sat here Sosol-san?" she asked the man.
Jeff's years in a castle, as a knight in training had taught him about long name and titles. He wondered if she was a true noble or if she just liked the overall pompousness of it all. She did have an aristocratic name and the manner in which she extended her beautiful hand made no doubt.
One did not erase years of serving the nobility so easily and the adolescent bowed. His rough fingers lifted politely her hand and his lips barely brushed the back of her hand in a perfect greeting.
"Lady duSaunde, the honor is mine." he said very formally, his old self seeming to come back in contact to someone so similar to those he had served for years.

Another tinkling laugh, she would withdraw her hand, "A gentleman and so young." Finding her drink again, cigarette holder in one hand, she sipped the mixture and polished it off. "You, Sweet Jeff, know how to make a very smooth bourbon and milk."
Looking over the tavern Tamirel smiled, "Is this a communal inn- chores, responsibilities in exchange for stay or is this a pay by day?"

Jeff straightened back up and gave a quick nod in Sosol's direction to thank him for teaching him a little bit about bartending, mostly the adolescent had been watching the man when he was bored.
"Your stay is free as long as you take care of your room. Feel free to help if you want." he pointed at the stairs. "Those lead to the rooms, those to the laundry room." A thumb towards the back and he explained. "This is the kitchen."

Oh those muscles of his were so delightful. Maybe if she was closer to his age- "Perhaps you could give me a proper tour later. Tell me about your time in court."
Her heels clicked on the wooden floor and she sauntered, hips swaying, near the window glancing outside for a moment. Good- the carriage was rolling past, they'd never find her. Keep on going. Moving away from the window her long hair catching the sunlight giving brilliant hints of gossamer- clenching the cigarette holder between pearly whites. "I don't suppose you know how to make sauteed duck foie gras and vinaigrette baby vegetables?"

"Anyone with a recipe book could, but the question is, will we?" asked a reedy female voice, suspicious from the stairwell. Charlotte stepped down the stairs in a rather charming gothic lolita outfit. "A communal house means that all are equal, regardless of title, you know."

Jeff looked at her, noble or not, there were limits. A tour? Of what? The place was small enough that she would not lose herself.
As she moved away, he could not help but look at her silhouette and unique hair. She might be strange, proud and flirtatious but she was a beautiful woman. He clenched his jaws.
Her food request made him blink. Was she serious?!
"No. I don't know how to cook that."
Jeff looked at Charlotte, probably the first time he was happy to see her!!!

Heavily lined eyes looked to the reedy voiced woman making her decent. "My gracious an angel descends."
She looked back to Jeff, "Oh now, not that face again," another melodious laugh, "I would not ask anyone to cook something they cannot, a small shrug with a bit of momentum behind it, "I could make it for everyone. Cooking is one of many of my talents." She winked to Jeff, he's so delightfully naive.
And finally back to the angel, "I feel under dressed between the two of you. Almost crass really," Tamriel sat down on a bar stool, adjusting the cloak appropriately as to not be sitting on the finely made material. Resting her jaw on her palm, she admired the jewels on her other hand, "I simply must know, Angel, your attire is quite lovely- would you be willing, if your schedule allows- to introduce me to your tailor?"

Jeff was somewhat more at ease now that he had noticed the heels. That meant that the woman was shorter than him and that simple fact made him held his head high. A victory short leaved when she teased him again with a disconcerting easiness. His forest green eyes did not look away when she winked. He knew perfectly what she was alluding to despite his youth. However despite his best try there was a hint of a blush on his cheeks and he moved away, letting the woman speak clothes with the others if she desired so.
Lin looked up when she realized that the long blue haired woman was speaking of her as well. She blinked, surprised that such a beautiful dressed woman would care for her very elegant yet very simple clothes.

"Angel...me?" frowned Charlotte, raising an eyebrow. "Do I look like I have a tailor?" Lots of compliments and lots of talents, not shy at all...this woman could either be charming or tedious, she reasoned. She couldn't deny that she liked the clothing style, but she couldn't scratch Xei from her mind so easily.

Tamriel gave a small nod, only sincerity in her silken voice, "Anyone who is capable of questioning me on my curiosity is clearly wisdom from on high. Very few people bother to say anything- titles always tend to get in the way." One of the jeweled hand opened revealing a branded palm, "Certainly an outfit of that fine quality was custom made to fit your lovely form. A mass produced dress would do you little justice."
Her eyes trained on Jeff, "Please don't go too far, Dear Jeff. Your lovely face makes my heart flutter and you make a wonderful drink." He's so easy to make blush.

Fee yawned widely, stretching, lashing his teeny white plume of a tail.

Jeff froze when he heard his name but he knew better than turn back to look at the woman. Lovely face?! What a demonic woman! he mentally growled. Now that he thought about it, he was more comfortable next to Mal, who after all was a real demon, an incubus even! He did not answer the gorgeous creature, letting Charlotte speak clothing and tailor.
Lin listened with interest to the discussion between Tamriel and Charlotte. She blinked upon seeing Fee.
