"Brown cap--what the blazes are you doing with Sol's phone, Gareus?" Stella asked, honestly a little thrown off by the fact that the voice on the other end wasn't her operative. "Is this the afternoon call? Stretching it a bit, aren't you?"
Sosol grinned to Lin, happy to share some of his other expertise. Once they started embracing him as bartender, he had to learn, and quickly. Most people had seen bartenders make their favorites...a quick mental scan and he had the workings of a cocktail. For many others, he was online, reading through recipes.

Gareus grinned, hearing the rare genuine surprise in her voice.

Finishing her drink, Tamriel stood and set the glass down on the bar counter, "A fine tale." Being polite and facing a wall, she bent backwards- her back giving a series of cracks and pops, "Ah- a double shot of whiskey and a triple jaegar- perhaps my back will comply for the rest of the evening." Completing a modest back walkover in her heels and standing at her full height, "If it's not a problem." Tamriel was a champion drinker...a bad habit which she had never been forced to drop.

Lin stood up from her seat to perch elegantly on a bar stool. "Do you mind me looking Sosol-san?" she asked softly, her silver gaze admiring both his talent as a bartender and as a telekinesist.

"You can watch 'til your heart's content," Sosol smiled, grabbing the two liquors. "I'm assuming you want these separate..." A shot glass and a small tumbler met him, the bartender pouring both simultaneously, one stopping before the other.
"Double whiskey, triple Jaeger...hope you plan on sleeping in." He shrugged, setting them out for her. One good thing about being at the Inn; if someone had too much, they could just sleep over. The white russian had just finished, landing in front of Malachai. Charlotte's Shirley Temple was already waiting.
"You seriously don't have a phone," Stella said flatly before chuckling. "And yes, thank you for the lesson in primitive timekeeping, you silly man. I'm assuming you're calling for either a tour or a lesson..."

He leaned back in his chair, head falling back.

Lin nodded then looked as he mixed alcohol, at the sight of jager, her eyes narrowed slightly when she picked up the scent.
"Would you mind pouring a drop in a small glass for me please Sosol-san?" she asked politely.

She winked at Sol, "Don't worry about me, Sol Dear. I've been doing this since I was 12." Clapping her hands together, "Thank you for this blessing of pain removal." And knocked back each drink and smiling broadly, tiny hand covering her lips, issuing a tiny, dainty urp, her "Oh my, pardon me."
Ah that warm fuzzy feeling circulating right to her back, "I'm so glad I found this place."

Mal beamed, picking up his cup and drinking it in one drain. "Yum!"
Charlotte sipped her own, frowning slightly. "Did you even taste that?"
"Yes, of course! It was yummy. I liked that a lot." he beamed. "It doesn't taste alcoholic all that much."
"That's the sneaky part of it...do you even get drunk?"
"..." Mal thought. "...I don't actually know."

"Oh, you're one of those, then," Sosol smiled, vaguely remembering Erik before also remembering he was deceased. "I may have a treat for you one evening."
He blinked at Lin's request, a small splash finding its way to a clean shot glass. "Careful...it's a very strong licorice flavor. Personally, I can't stand it."
"Well, then," Stella purred on the other end of the line. The idea of such a promising magician under her tutelage and payroll seemed nice. "I'd be happy to show you around...maybe have you meet some of my associates. Well, the ones you don't know already. Hmm...when to pencil you in, though."

Lin brought the beverage to her nose and smelled it a while. Plants, licorice, it was very different from sake or any alcohol she had tried.
She dipped her crimson lips in the strong liquid but did not take a sip, only liked slightly her lips.
"Interesting..." she whispered as if to herself then she chucked down the rest, closing her eyes at the burning sensation.
"I actually like the taste." she admitted a little surprised at herself.

Tamriel smiled and settled on a barstool once again. Crossing her long legs and running a hand through the loose lock of hair, "It's been a long time since I've had the freedom to do this." She looked to Charlotte, "Why wouldn't he get drunk?" She looked to Malachai, "Are you actually a champion like me?"
