[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

"Maddening sometimes- isn't it?" Senpai mused. "Long hours with no one to rely on but yourself. People who don't understand, pry without context, willing to mock what they don't understand despite your findings."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

If he could smile, he would've.

"...I would like to share a drink with you, sir."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai gave a nod, "It would be an honor to share a drink with a comrade in arms."

He got up, clapping a hand on Senpai's shoulder with a nod of his head, the most he could make out with his helmet to show acknowledgement.

"What will you have, my man? I am unsure what the beverages of this Inn vary to, but I shall have the same."

Senpai would tense slightly at the contact, still not entirely used to being touched, only relaxing slightly at the thought of the armor possibly being resistant to the curse. It had never effected metal before, stone and wood yes, but metal...there was no reason why it should now. "Shōchū is always a preference... but I always enjoy a warm or cold sake."

"Shouchuu... An interesting sound for a drink."

He showed the way into the kitchen.

"Might you introduce me to it? It sounds interesting simply by pronunciation alone."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai would get up, allowing the armored man to lead the way to the kitchen. Senpai would start looking around, opening cabinets and attempting to read the labels on every bottle found, "When I was a child, shōchū and fish were the easiest acquired without drawing the attention of many people."
Finding some glasses which were best for the proper amount, Senpai would set them on the counter, find a teapot and filling it with water and look at the stove, "Do you know how to operate this?"

Kassadin nodded hesitantly.

"I am no cook, but..."

He flipped a knob, the small blue flame spouting.

"You use those buttons to control the flame, I believe."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai gasped in delight, "Certainly magical in nature. Many of these items in here make me a bit nervous. I'm used to building a small fire to cook my meals," setting the water filled kettle over the flame. Senpai then returned to looking for a bottle of shōchū. "It has a very earthy smell and flavor, better when mixed with warm water. Many people believe it is like sake... but it is not rice wine.."
Senpai picked up a bottle with the good arm and pondered over the title before putting it back. What in the world was a mango?

"So it is like... green tea perhaps?"

He 'stood' by patiently, letting the man work as he studied the ingredients.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai's head shook, "No... it does not involve tea unless you want to mix it with oolong."
Senpai grinned and pulled a bottle off of a shelf, "Here we are. It amazes me how this tavern seems to have anything anyone could want."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Ahh, I see."

He followed the bottle as it was taken down from the shelf.

"Yes, they keep quite well-stocked here; they have many different tastes as well, so be it food or drink they cover most bases."  

[Astra_Senpai]

When the kettle whistled, Senpai would take it off the burner and pour some into the clear glasses. Returning to the stove, Senpai would turn it off and set the kettle on another burner to cool. Picking up the bottle of shōchū, uncorking it and expertly pouring the contents into the glasses. The richly colored fluid mixed with the water without being stirred and the earthy aroma filled the kitchen. Senpai would pick up a glass with the good hand and offer it to the armor, "I hope no one will mind- it seems like a fresh bottle."

He accepted the cup, bowing his helmet.

"Much thanks, friend."

Kassadin turned the cup about in his hands, observing it before he brought it a small distance in front of his helmet and tipped it, bringing it down to show a small portion was gone.

"Aah... It truly tastes like earth, hm. This warmth though... It makes me feel rested somehow."

The glass not handed over was Senpai's and after intaking a deep breath, admiring the nutty and earthy aroma, "Kanpai."
Taking a healthy sip Senpai exhaled a long breath, it had been so many years since the last time this alcohol has passed these torn lips. Senpai smiled kindly, "I have never shared a drink like this before. I can see the appeal of drinking with like minded people."
