He shook his face out after taking off his hat, lips flapping, thensqueezing his eyes shut before opening as if he'd just woken up. He did his best to curl the corners of his mouth upwards, though it came out more like an awkward bulldog.

He sympathized with the man at the bar. The only person who had ever- he ran his thumb over the pocket watch. Very slowly he'd approach Charlotte, almost as if she were an active threat. "M-m-may I j-join y-you?"

Gareus nodded to the man as Charlotte motioned to a seat next to them both, dropping the smile a few notches to a slight curl at the ends of his lips, but in no way less friendly. He gave a nonchalant wave and a nod.

Gareus reached into the pocket of the trenchcoat he'd started wearing (after the visit to the GMO, he'd found it quite comfy), pulling out his leather gauntlet glove.
"I learned some cool stuff from Stella! Well, not directly, but under her guidance, kind of a disclaimer there."

Gareus moved the finger around, drawing a picture with light like a neon sign. The result was a bad finger painting of a cat(?) in the air.

He nodded, taking all of the light and smooshing it together like a crumpled piece of paper.
"Yepper-dee-doo-dah. It seems to be limited to my imagination, however limited that is."
Gareus opened his hands, showing that the light had solidified into a crude light sculpture of the same kitten.

He tapped the cat on the head, making it dissipate back into light and disappear into the glove.
"But I guess so... Wouldbe interesting what I could make then. I could make like... the world's biggest waterslide or something."
