Lin was surprised to see the chibi accept her touch and even search for it. With more assurance, she run a finger in his long silky hair. She let out a discrete sigh at the delicate sensation.
"You're welcome." she said to Charlotte without moving her hand away.

Lin bowed at both Charlotte and the man who did not seem much more at ease than earlier.
"You are both very welcome." she said and her voice was softer, probably because she was petting Fee.

Lin looked up at Charlotte.
She had to admit that the woman was right.
"This is true." Then she realized something, if Fee's hair was so soft, that meant Felix's hair was too. She moved her hand away a little too quickly to be natural. The concept disturbed her.

Lin shook her head. "No no. Nothing.He did not do anything wrong." she apologized then wrapped her hands around her own tea. She did not know what to say, so she simply drank her beverage.
When the man mentioned seeing them in action, Lin was not sure she agreed!

"Ohh, I bet I know. It's not like he's the same person as Felix, really. They look alike, and have similar personalities, but they're totally different people." said Charlotte with a grin.
At the mention of a chibi in action, she gave Fee a gummy bear. "Kill it."
Fee promptly bit off its head and ate it.
"One chibi's not bad. It's the swarms you have to watch out for. Two or more can easily take out an adult human."

The Asian woman blinked. Sure they were different, but she could not help but think it a little unsettling.
Lin's eyes widened at Charlotte's order and at the chibi's demonstration. She even brought a hand to her lips. She did not need to see that.

The phrase 'kill it' had made him rise and spill his tea on himself before he realized Charlotte had used a gummy bear. Kiran bit his lip as the tea was still plenty hot and his foolishness didn't need to bother the others. Oh but DAMN IT ALL DID IT HURT! His ears were flat against his skull the tiny fringes of fur at the tips were flared. He registered what Charlotte told them and gave a relived sigh when he realized the order had been for candy.

Fee licked his lips. "Yami gami beiya. Sankyu."
"Of course, sweetie." she smiled. "All you folks need to know is this: keep them fed."
She glanced at Kiran, frownning. "Oh dear...here." She snapped her fingers, the tea spill reversing itself, flowing from his clothes into cup, falling neatly back onto the table.

Lin spotted the man's tea spilling all over him. He was probably burning himself! She moved surprisingly fast for such small steps and handed him a clean towel.
"Are you alright?" she asked strangely calm.
As she arrived by the man though, the tea was back in the mug and she blinked, totally confused. Then stared at Charlotte.

Kiran was dumbstruck. His eyes wide behind the lenses and it took him a very long time before he could remember there was no danger. Charlotte had promised there was no danger here. He looked from Charlotte to Lin, Lin to Charlotte and then to Fee. Adorable Fee. And then darkness. Too much for his poor heart the fragile man collapsed into the darkness.
