She would unsteadily stand, pressing her cheek to Bure's affectionately, stepping forward, resting a jeweled hand on Malachai's shoulder and smiling, " They always do. They always melt away into water and there's only a few who can keep them perfect," she pressed her cheek against his if he'd allow it and step away, she'd reflect on his warmth. " And they're either ice spirits or dead." She start for the stairs, one hand holding her head and the other wrapping around her middle, " I'm sorry, Malachai. I'm tired- thank you for sharing with me. Bleghabie, I will see you soon." Going up the stairs, to her room, she'd throw the clothing on the floor, run and bath, lock the door and soak until she fell asleep. ((Time for boardgame night! I'll see you folks later!))

Mal hummed, pouting slightly. That was no fun. He sighed, tail swaying as he flopped onto the couch to play with the pillow tassels he'd grown rather fond of.

James peeked his head in the door, looking around for that nervous wreck of a writer before walking in. "Oh, hey!" He waved cheerfully to Malachai. "You're looking down..."

"Oh, being bored sucks...trust me, I know," James chuckled with a smile, slightly ruffling the demon's hair. "So, let's figure out something cool to do! I was just coming here to see what happened to the mailman guy, but this is much better."

"The red one!" he said proudly. "I have the fire lizard thing! It's already level twenty! Though, every time it levels up, it starts trying to do something, but it stops when I hit the buttons. Is that normal?"

James gave him a momentarily blank stare. And this was getting better...? He facepalmed before putting an arm around Malachai. "My friend, we have a few basic lessons...for one, don't push the buttons. What your little lizard's trying to do is evolve into something more powerful!" He smiled, pulling a netbook from an oversized labcoat pocket.
"Let me show you some tips...we'll have you catching them all in no time!"

"Ohh! Ooh! I'll get my gameboy!" he said, jumping up and running upstairs, coming back down the stairs with his borrowed Gameboy SD, already turned on. "Max lent this to me. Isn't it fancy?"
He opened his file, showing his party. He'd beaten Brock, and was roaming around the trail to Mount Moon. He had a Charmander, a Pidgey, a Pikachu, a Weedle, and a Rattata, all without nicknames.

James nodded lightly...it wasn't bad, his progress, but he could be so much more. "Alright...this isn't too bad, but half of these should've been evolved by now. Let's pick a few fights and get them where they're supposed to be."
He smiled. "Also...you can name your friends. Well, not right now, but there's a place you can go to change them later. All the new guys, though...be sure to give them names so you can tell them apart."

"Well, any name you want...I mean, their names are cool, yeah, but sometimes you'll pick up multiples of the same one. There has to be some way to tell one from the other, right?" James encouraged him, bringing up some of his pokemon.
"I named mine after the folks at the Labs...!"

"I kinda finished this game before I met Hunter," James frowned, before getting an idea. "I'll name my Haunter after him! Ha-ha! Lemme show you!" He flew his character to the naming NPC, switching his Haunter to read "HUNTER".
"There! He's a ghost pokemon."
