Were she to relinquish her claim on Violet, there could be accord. I am always one to see possible order...but it is up to the agents involved whether or not it shall happen."
To the other question, Nirro plucked up one of the cookies off Orrin's tray, looking it over and taking a test nibble before setting it down. Not his favorite. "Your demonic friend is distracted...her focus is split between multiple things. She will have tastes of all but will conquer none because of her unwillingness to compromise her own wants and needs."

Nirro closed his eyes...sometimes, seeing the big picture made it difficult to focus on details. "She...she sees something, in Violet's soul. Latent knowledge, maybe? Power? It's hard to tell. Her abilities made her even more valuable, as she greatly improved their rituals...and Kasdeya likes the sound of her screams and sobs."

"I told you...I can see the order of things," Nirro said casually. "I usually focus on the grand schematic, so fishing out details like that takes a while. Mostly, it just runs in the background, popping up when something needs fixing. In the meantime, Mr. Claus on the other side runs his business."

Lin blinked several times but remained silent. Kassadin had lied and Adam was willing to tag along and make himself an ambassador to help him out. Somehow she felt...disappointed that the blond man would accept the masquerade without knowing more about it. She looked at the ground then stood up quietly to fetch herself a glass of water. Should she help? What could she do? She did not like the idea of lying though.

Adam smiled to Lin, curious. "Eh?"
Mal's brow furrowed as he tried to figure out what he'd been told, tail tip twitching. Santa...Saint...Saint Claus? Was there a Saint Claus? Wait...Santa...was that..? He looked up to Nirro, eyes wide. "He's that guy?"

Lin blinked at Adam as he looked at her. As she walked back next to him and sat, she put down her glass on the table.
Her tone was calm and totally non-judgmental and she was speaking loud enough for Kassadin to hear.
"Isn't it a little...deceitful to pretend being an ambassador when you are not?" she asked, her cool silver eyes looked at the blond man. She was trying to understand the reasoning behind the decision.

Adam blinked. He hadn't thought of that, clearly, as he looked down in consideration. "Well...no, I don't think so. If he's asking for an ambassador for humanity, aren't you and I both qualified to represent our species?"
"Naw, tha'ts okay. I'm not s'posed to talk to saints anyway; they'd probably try to kill me." frowned Mal, scratching his chin. "Thanks for not killing me, by the way."

Lin seemed thoughtful for a moment. If she had known Adam's worm abilities she would have probably argued that he was not per say a typical human. But she was clueless on the matter and a gardener was quite 'normal' enough to her standard to fit the purpose.
"Seen in that angle, you are right.You will do perfectly." she said calmly.
She thought about his words though, would she qualify? An interesting question.
