"It's nice to see demons like you these days," Nirro answered. "Tell Charlotte you have a picture for her. She'll get it." He shook the demon's hand, claws dulling and receding to fingernails.
Orrin blinked after a minute of transformation, grinning. "I assume it went well."

"It'll be alright...she just gets cranky around soul eaters," he chuckled, pulling out a piece of paper and jotting a quick note. He folded it into a tidy airplane and tossed it gently, watching it vanish into thin air.

"I think she's getting better about it, though." he added, smiling hopefully.
After a minute, Charlotte peeked in, a paper airplane in her ponytail. "You rang?"
"Ah, um, Miss Charlotte? I have a picture for you?"
Charlotte blinked, frowning. "Picture? Where?"
"Uh, um...I don't know. He didn't give me one." pouted Malachai.
"...Think of the guy." she concluded. As Malachai thought hard about Nirro, she blinked and snapped her fingers, a Polaroid fluttering to the floor. Shaking it out, she watched it develop, breaking into a grin. "Ohhh hooooo~?"

"Is it, now?" she smiled slyly. "Well, thanks! It's going right into a scrapbook!"
Malachai blinked. "What happened?"
"I took a mental picture. Here, look!" she said, handing the picture to the demon. Nirro was smiling brightly from the photo.
Malachai looked stunned. "This is..!"
"Yes, it is. Thanks for the picture, Mal!" she smiled, tousling his hair.
Mal chuckled, tail flicking happily. He had no idea what was going on, but being petted was all that mattered.

The demon sat, happy as a dog, eyes shut.
