Senpai nodded, looking at the can of frosting, then the microwave, "So...no one builds fires to cook their meals any longer? Ever? These marvels are going to soften too many people. But then again, canned foods, thickened sweets, ice boxes filled with food- very prepared." Senpai took a mouthful a the frosting and worked it around for a moment, "Such marvels, Malachai. Next you will tell me there is kabuki without going to theater, carts without horses, and singers without bodies." Senpai took a mouthful of popcorn and then frosting, merrily working away at them.

Senpai could not believe it. Eating some frosting, staring at him for a long moment- thinking about it for a long moment. "I am familiar with music boxes, you insert a key, wind them up and listen to the plinking sounds. What are movies... and cars like?"

"Movies are like flipbooks, only projected through lights and mirrors and magnifying lenses to be shown on a large wall. Cars are these boxy metal mechanical things on rubber doughnuts that people use as transportation." he said, taking some more popcorn.

Senpai laughed, "Sounds very complicated. Perhaps we could try this movie thing one day. I would not mind seeing a kabuki again with a friend." Senpai pondered for a moment, eating a bit more frosting, it was strange- having a friend. Would...did Malachai consider Senpai a friend? Senpai certainly hoped so, "Perhaps after this we can play a game...something of your choice?"
