Kiran's ears drooped slightly, his hand flew with notations in another language as he spoke, "R-really?" That could not be true. He had never met a woman so masculine in his life. He gave a small shake of his head and looked up to the sleeping being, "A-are y-you c-cert-tain, M-miss L-L-Lin? Forg-give m-me, I am n-not one t-t-to d-doub-bt b-b-but I h-have n-never s-seen a w-woman w-who l-l-looks or ac-cts l-like th-that."

Senpai slowly opened one green eye- drowsy, unwilling to move in the slightest. Senpai's fingers flexed again but no effort was made to get up.

Jeff was ready and he slowly headed up the stairs, muscle tensed by the heavy tray. He hoped she'd like it. What if she was not awake? He had added a white rose to make the overall arrangement look nice.
As he arrived in front of Violet's room he hesitated, maybe he should wait, maybe he should not be there.
Come on man! You're here knock! he motivated himself. Well knocking was difficult so he decided to 'knock' with his foot, the result was a strong pounding sound at the door and he cursed, feeling the urge to rush back downstairs.


Lin looked up at Senpai, unable to see that the woman was awake, then back at Kiran. She nodded. "Yes I am sure. Senpai did not have an easy life but she did a beautiful woman in her own right." she said very calmly.

"Eep!" Violet jumped, stumbling out of bed at the loud knocking. Her hair was a bit of a mess, and she was still in her pajamas, but she drowsily wandered to the door regardless. As she opened it however, her eyes widened in surprise. No, not that there was breakfast, though that was lovely...but that Jeff was at the door and seeing her with bedhead.

"J-Jeff...! Um, hi..." She ran her fingers through her hair quickly, trying to tame it.

"Welcome back," Orrin grinned, coming down to meet the Innkeeper. "It's nice to see you home...have a nice trip?"

Jeff stared at her, she looked very very...cute. He quickly looked down at the tray, silent a second, embarrassed, then he remembered why he was there.
"Happy birthday Violet!" he said looking back at her with a gentle smile, he did not mind the sleepy face or the pajamas, she looked surprised and that made him happy. "My Queen, breakfast is served..." he added with a grin.



Lin tilted her head, she did not understand Kiran's question. Female? Why not using the word woman. Was Sempai not human? She blinked and looked up at the white hair.
"I am afraid I do not understand Mister Kiran." she said calmly.

At Gren's arrival, she gave a low bow. This man was the innkeeper and as such deserved a lot of respect.

"Thank you...!" She looked down at the plate and smiled, recognizing some of the things from the day before. Pancakes with blueberries, orange juice...and a white rose, too. She blushed, backing away into her room. "Come in and set it down..." She'd have to get dressed after breakfast, it seemed. But hey, a birthday breakfast...she hadn't had one in years, unless she counted--it probably wasn't a good idea to think about that today.

Orrin smiled...it was delightful to see Gren so energetic and happy...it was rare. He almost wanted Azana and Sosol to be here, too, to witness it. They had worried about him so much.

"I do...! And I will!" She answered, waiting a moment before rubbing her arm sheepishly as he stood there. "Umm...can you wait...outside, maybe? I'll...I need to change eventually..."

Jeff stared at his feet. "Oh..sure sure..enjoy your breakfast." he said and left the room almost running. He closed the door behind himself and leaned against the wall in the hallway. What would she think about his card? It was probably better if he was not there when she opened it, he would have been too embarrassed. Should he wait there? Or go down? He did not know. Maybe he should have brought a plate for himself and share breakfast with her. So stupid!


Lin nodded. Lemonade sounded quite refreshing. She blinked, then answered.
"Miss Charlotte displayed some beautiful fireworks yesterday, did you get a chance to see any of them?"
