Senpai nodded, having heard of Italy but never seen it before. "I miss the ocean. The salt and sun- the peace. Different from the peace here but all the same it is interesting. Were there games or a festival?" Senpai was not meaning to ask so many questions, but Gren was- Gren was safe and Senpai was comfortable talking with Gren.

"It sounds like you have a very good time. I am happy for you," a tiny pang of...what jealousy? Senpai was not sure what that feeling was, perhaps the loneliness wasn't as far gone as Senpai had hoped. Senpai's smile never faulted for Gren though, "Oh! Malachai told me about these things called movies are there movies in Italy?"

Senpai gave a small nod, it sounded lovely enough. Picking at the heavy silk, Senpai seemed sated with answers- not honestly sure what else to ask or to say to Gren.

The excitement was pure child, the sound produced by Senpai was only comparable to that of the chirp of many excited birds, "I would! I would very much like to." And Senpai blushed, hiding masculine face behind a large hand in embarrassment, control quickly caught, the hand dropping once mild expression returned though the blush still intact, "I mean, yes. Yes I would. It sounds very interesting kabuki with images rather than people."

Senpai shuffled from foot to foot, that odd excitement again, "I like tales of adventure, journeys, sword fighting, honor... stories where the women are wise and men are noble. I like humor, obvious jokes- I have a hard time with subtle ones." Senpai hadn't been allowed to spend much time around storytellers or many people at all as a child. Festivals had the best stories because no one recognized you from the crowd, never once had Senpai heard a story all the way through in a production.

Senpai bow, bobbed- it was an silly gesture, "When may I- we- when can this movie be seen?" Senpai was almost hopping in place with excitement, it was hard to contain- dragons, spirits, soot sprites. Oh there were so many, many questions to be answered now. Senpai would burst soon.

Senpai did hop this time. Over the bar without disturbing a thing, wrapping both arms around Gren and hugging Gren tightly, even daring to life the man off the floor a bit and excitedly before letting go and stepping back, "Yes! Thank you, thank you yes!" Senpai's smile was broad and merry, as happy as happy could be- and a very unusual look for the usually calm person. Giving a deep bow, Senpai's face was flushed, "I would be honored to meet Eli."
