[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Azana Brown]

"Opal, this is Gren, one of our Innkeepers. Gren, this is Opal," Sosol introduced the two. "The contents of these two baskets are apparently for the Inn's use."

Azana peeked in, letting out an impressed whistle. "Berries, mushrooms, various smoked game..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"In the forge, really?" he asked curiously. "Was it comfortable in there?"

Charlotte cooed at the smoked ham. "Dinner's ready~"

Remy grinned, peering over. "Lookin' good!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Opal would give a precise nod, "Very few adjustments were necessary. The forge is in fine working condition. I would like to ask a few things if you have time and do not mind."  

[Gren_Eckener]

He nodded, taking a seat at the bar with a polite smile. "Yes, certainly."

Charlotte took up the basket and brought it into the kitchen to put things away. "Woo woo woo!"  

[Azana Brown]

Sosol followed Charlotte to help and to give Gren and Opal some space. "Let's see...oh...!" He picked up a few mushrooms, eyes wide behind his sunglasses. "I'd know these anywhere...Charlotte, you are in for a treat."

Azana, meanwhile, stayed out with the pair and Remy. She'd probably hear all about the baskets later, or have some of it for dinner. Besides, she wanted to get to know the giant a little.

"Morels?" she asked, digging in the fridge. "I love those. Are they morels?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Opal's stance didn't change beyond a tiny shift to face Gren a bit more, while not putting her back to Azana or Remy, "I am a trained blacksmith and veterinary. Adam was kind enough to bring me to the inn."

Her arms bent behind her back, she held her wrists, muscles flexed only slightly- not showing off, simply taking a moment to relax a bit more, In my hunting I captured a pregnant sow and since then have built a pen. I have prepared appropriate tools for setting up a stable and corral if you will allow."

"That they are...my dad used to fry these up when he found them out back," Sosol smiled, setting them aside. "I think I'll do the same, if that's alright."

Azana blinked at the news...a stable and a corral? The forge was already a big addition...were they making their own village out here?  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren took a deep breath through his nose and let it out slowly, looking down a bit as he thought. "...Where?"

"Woohoo!" cheered Charlotte from within the fridge. "Best mushroom! Please do!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"There are several areas, a comfortable distance from the inn which would be ideal and easily managed." Opal was stone still, her face calm, "Each has easy access to water with plenty of grazing land. The animals would be easy to wrangle and break as they lack fear.."

Her stern smile fell to a soft one for a moment, "I would be happy to show you them. I understand a decision cannot be immediate without all of the information."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yeah...I'd better see this myself before I agree. Too close to the Inn's not going to be an option." he agreed. "Shall we, Miss Opal?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Fried morels it is!" Sosol smiled, setting them aside. "Mind pulling out some ingredients for a light batter. And pick a meat; we'll do something with that, too..."

"I'll hold down the fort," Azana shrugged. "Might even help with dinner."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Opal would give a polite nod to Gren, easily opening the door and waiting. The one with authority exits first unless they have a guard- then it's another story. Her gaze falling to Azana and Remy, her smile held a calm kindness to it, but her attention returned to Gren, "If you do not mind I would like to check on the sow on the way out."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Certainly." he said, holding the door for her with a polite nod. "Lead the way?"

"Feeeeeeeeeeesh!" she said, pulling out some smoked fish, then getting to batter ingredients.

"As you wish..." Sosol grinned, preparing the mushrooms and slicing them for better breading.

Azana watched them, an occasional glance to Remy. He'd been pretty quiet through this... "You alright?"
