[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Nix wasn't sure whether or not she should applaud. It felt like the appropriate thing to do in the sense that Malachai had managed to write his name. However, at the same time, Malachai wasn't a little kid so it was probably rude to applaud. In the end, the girl settled with her usual nod as she silently mouthed, "Malachai." The pale girl then looked up at Malachai with her one revealed silver eye. She had yet another question, but she didn't write it out. Rather, she simply pointed at her head, back, and butt while looking at Mal's horns, wings, and tail with an inquisitive eye and smile.

"Huh?" he blinked, looking where she pointed. "You don't have anything there, don't worry." he smiled cheerfully. "Or, or wait, did you mean mine? Aren't they pretty?"

He flared his wings proudly, lifting his tail to show off the spade, running a hand back over a horn. "I just love my horns and tail. And my dear wings! So wonderful."

Nix nodded when Mal asked if she was referring to his wings, tail, and horns. She didn't nod immediately after the pretty comment. Instead, the girl took her time observing the displayed body parts. Indeed, they were quite nice to look at and in her experience seemed quite well-cared for. The horn shone smoothly and brightly. Likewise, the wings and tail were neat, well-defined, and uninjured. Only after having made this opinion herself did the girl nod in agreement that Mal's horns, tail, and wings were wonderful.

Although, Nix hadn't received the answer she wanted yet. She had wanted to see if she could ask without using words as wording the question would be tricky to do without risking offending Mal even if Nix had no ill intentions. However, it seemed a bit silly to keep up the charades. Nix thought carefully before writing out her question and turning it around cautiously so Mal can see, "Why do you have horns, etc.?".

He read carefully, humming. "Oh! Because I'm a demon." he said cheerfully. "We have those."

Nix immediately began accessing all she could remember about demons. New questions appeared as she reviewed her information, such as what type of demon Malachai was. However, she didn't ask them. Rather, she couldn't. It would have seemed strange for a 15 year old traveller to know enough to ask such questions. Rather, the girl mouthed an interested, "Uwah." She didn't seem the bit perturbed by the information that Malachai was a demon (in fact, she was quite comfortable with it), a creature that most usually shunned and cursed. Like the questions she wanted to ask, Nix felt that this would be seen as weird. However, she would preferred to be seen as strange than to be the cause of even the slightest bit of discomfort in the inn. She knew from first-hand experience that demons, like just about any creature, had a wide variety of personalities. Malachai seemed nice enough.

"An incubus, to be exact. I can smell your curiousity." he said, tapping his nose. "Ask what you want; being a demon's all I'm good at."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai would yawn and stretch coming to life. Sitting up and looking about, then down from the rafters. Ah- it was busy today. So many voices and the like. Senpai would recognize most of them, criss crossing both feet, Senpai would continue to watch. Rubbing tired eyes and humming softly, what happy dreams.

Remy looked up, waving to Senpai with a smile.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai smiled to the man, giving a polite wave back, "Hello, Sir. How are you?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Name's Remy, and I'm doin' good." he smiled, nodding. "Yourself?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"I am very well. Gren showed me a movie called 'Spirited Away' last night and it was very good! I am still unsure about this cartoon animation but it was very nice, very different from kabuki," Senpai beamed, the emotion unusual but not out of place on the handsome face.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ohhhh, good choice! That movie's incredible." beamed Remy. "I see you liked it. Did he show you any others?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai's expression calmed a bit, both hands wrapping into the criss cross of Senpai's legs, "I am afraid I was so excited from the first and filled with so many questions I'm afraid there wasn't time. I worry I may have made a fool of myself in front of MacPere and Gren."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Somehow, I doubt that...Gren's not a judgmental guy, and Eli's a good sport." chuckled Remy. "But if you got that excited, I'm sure they were just happy you liked it."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai's smile returned, "I very much enjoyed the movie. I never imagined it would be so exciting! I still do not completely understand the witches or why the tears of Chihiro were so big but Haku and Kamajii were my favorites."
