Meanwhile, Gren and Malachai descended the stairs together, sharing laughs. "Good grief, Mal...you act like you've never seen that before?"

"I haven't, I haven't!" he beamed. "Your husband and I are birds of a feather! Just my type of fellow!"

"Now don't get any ideas~" teased the innkeep.

He gave it a careful brush, then a rub behind before he let his hands down.

"You take very good care of yourself."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai watched from above. It was nice being up high. One long arm, the good arm, dangling like a vine. Senpai quiet content with not- but almost- making contact with the occasional person. To be honest Senpai wasn't coming anywhere close to touching anyone, but with one eye closed Senpai's depth perception was a bit off.

Tamriel shivered, beamed, "I do what I can," she waved a hand slightly, "Bure, I think you need to bathe. It's been a long sweaty day." Oh yeah... smooth.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

Bure sniffed at himself, making a face.

"...You're right. Bath times, it is!"

He got up, picking up his hoodie and balling it up.  

[Astra_Senpai]

"I'll see in you in a little while then," she'd smile, but wouldn't push him out- after all he had his own room to bathe in and she REALLY needed a bath herself. It was more of a personal madness than a necessity.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He gave her a thumbs-up, nodding.

"I will count the seconds we're away~"

Bure chuckled as he left, his voice in the hallway audible even through the door.

"Oooone, twooo..."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel would close the door to her room, once he was out, and laugh. She whispered softly, "..three...four..." What a silly being. Unceremoniously stripping down, running piping hot water and settling in for a nice long grooming session, Tamriel would be unreachable for several hours.

Bure made his way to his own tub, sitting on his bed as he pulled off the skinnies and boxers, then walking nude to his tub, running the water before hopping in with a splash. He was a tad tall for it, his feet sticking out up over the edge when unstraightened. As the water met his chin, he spoke bubbles of the seconds below the water, but slowly stopped out as he closed his eyes. His thoughts rolled back over the day's events. It was a great day, really it was... Shopping with Tam, walking with Tam, dancing on the beach with Tam... Confessing to Tam. His head fell back with a clunk and a groan.

"You have the eloquence of a plank, Bleghabie. Augh."

He sank down into the tub, regretting. That point where the great things you could've said in a moment hit him, a few bubbles rising to the water's surface. He didn't know how, but she'd really come to mean a lot to him without him realizing it. It wasn't just protection or guidance anymore, he just plain liked being around her, having her enjoy him and vice versa.

What did you do with a feeling like that?

Azana walked into the Inn, setting her pseudo-broom aside before looking through a few papers. A basic report on Gareus, a few mission debriefings, an anniversary card tucked in. She chuckled...it was still early, but better early than late, she supposed.

Remy and Charlotte seemed to be occupied in a rousing game of Egyptian Rat Screw.

"That was mine, dude."

"No way."

"Yes way. Don't make me take a reslap here, or we both hafta pay a penalty."

"Char, I'd rather pay it than let you take this slap."  

[Azana Brown]

Azana glanced over to them, shaking her head. She'd hate to be in the middle of that contest. "Evening, you two."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Evening." smiled Remy, glancing up.

Charlotte waved with a grin. "How're you?"

Neither had moved their hand.  

[Azana Brown]

"Eh, not too bad...just getting used to being back here," she answered, waving the papers. "I sometimes forget I actually have a job here. I haven't done a good field mission in too long."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Did you get a new one?" asked Remy, relenting by setting his cards faceup, a silent request for truce.

Charlotte let go of the deck, looking curiously to the woman at the bar. "A good one, huh..?"  

[Azana Brown]

"The most recent ones have been deliveries. I like the flying practice, but...I guess I'm getting nostalgic or something. This one seems pretty good, though. Busting up a spelled drug ring..." Azana explained, watching their game of cards over a glass of iced tea.
