[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"Spelled drug ring? That sounds exciting!" cheered Charlotte. "Tell us about it, please! I've been itching for adventure!"

Remy nodded, packing up the cards.  

[Azana Brown]

Azana smirked, opening the file and bringing out a few pieces of papers. "Normal drug rings are left to the police...but sometimes we get mages and alchemists who want to get rich quick. They start making what we call 'spelled' drugs...either they're enchanted versions of the normal stuff or magically-created facsimiles. They're stronger, more expensive, more addictive...and can have some really horrible side effects."

She shuffled through, pointing to a marked warehouse on a map. "Our informants have a location for their workshop and storehouse. My job is to get in, incapacitate those responsible, and either confiscate or destroy the product."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Charlotte trotted over to have a look. "Ooooohhhh...that sounds exciting!"

Remy nodded, grinning. "Max is gonna kill me for offering, but if you want a hand...cause you sure won't need one..." he chuckled.  

[Azana Brown]

"You wouldn't be a bad hand to have, though you might get Sol all jealous," Azana snickered, showing off a few more pictures and reports. "I don't know exactly what kind of stuff they're packing...or if they have any muscle."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Remy leafed through the pictures, humming. "What kinda drugs are they doling?"  

[Azana Brown]

Azana looked through the reports before pulling one out. "Let's see...it looks like they've got dream dust, H of both spelled and non-spelled varieties, and an enchanted ecstasy. Not a bad operation..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Hmm...well, that doesn't sound like the really hardcore stuff, so I have my doubts at that they're all that badass." he hummed.

Charlotte nodded in agreement. "They're making more than one kind, so they're confident, at least."  

[Azana Brown]

"True...sometimes, as long as you're really good at one kind, that's all you need. For instance, dream dust isn't hardcore, but it's incredibly addictive; once you get to a certain threshold, you can't stop without a proper detox treatment. H can get hardcore, depending on who makes it, and Spelled H just makes it worse. Enchanted ecstasy is easy to overdose on, because they usually amplify its effect. They might be using one to get them started on the others." Azana shrugged...it was all speculation. Still, she had some people to bring in.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Well, they sure aren't starting out on the light stuff..." hummed Charlotte, setting down the pictures. "I'd think it's just an arrogant outfit, for starters...depends on how much they're known for how much security they've got."

Remy hummed. "Yeah...could be anything, like you said. Hope it's just some punks."  

[Azana Brown]

"That's what I was thinking...they started with a small batch, made some serious cash, and got greedy. As long as we can n** them before they grow much bigger, it should be fine." Azana gathered the papers, sliding them back into the folder carefully. "I'll be heading out in a couple nights, during the new moon."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ahhh, under the gloooom of the night." grinned the vampire. "Totally sweet. Someone's covering you, right?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Well, I'll have Tech streaming live...I wasn't sure whether I wanted to bring the hubby along to this one," Azana answered Remy, taking a long sip. "I know that when it's secure, Kristen will be doing some of the cleanup with a few other pyros. A lot of that stuff is better off gone."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Mmm...I think it's always best to take someone along on backup, physically. You're totally kickass, but like in benchpressing, it's always good to have someone to spot you." said Charlotte, heading behind the counter for an ice pop.  

[Azana Brown]

"I know..." She sighed. "I've been in enough tight spots to know the value of a second body, trust me. I--it sounds so weird, but I don't want to--"

"Impose?" Sosol said, just having come down the stairs. "You were going to run off without me."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Azana, please, it's not an imposition if it's a party~" chuckled Charlotte.

Remy grinned at Sosol's entrance. "Best of intentions."
