[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Azana Brown]

Azana looked at him sheepishly. "I just didn't want to force you into beating up some young punks..."

"I can say no for myself, dear," Sosol grinned. "There are people making worse living through chemistry and alchemy. I have no problem shutting them down with you. And no problem with Remy tagging along, should he want to do so."

"No kidding...a warehouse probably doesn't even have a strong threshold..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Remy rubbed his chin. "Say, know what? I could wear something scruffy, pretend I'm looking for a deal, get invited in, like some kinda cool sting mission. Would you two want that? Cause, if you do, I should run it past Max."

"Actually, she might know something about this, don't you think?"  

[Azana Brown]

"I don't think Max gets into that kind of thing," Azana said before a sly smirk faded into view. She gave an understanding nod. "But she could find out."

"Well, hopefully something more than we already have," Sosol added, gesturing to the folder in Azana's hands.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"All righty. Allow me to invoke the girlfriend." laughed Remy, sending her a text. "Her might shall fall upon us."

Charlotte nibbled her ice pop, smirking.  

[Azana Brown]

"Hi-ho! Hi-ho! It's off to work we go~" Max sang as she strolled downstairs, sauntering to Remy and landing a kiss before looking to the others. "So, what's up?"

"Well, I've been handed a fun little mission," Azana smiled, handing over the folder. "I'd like you, my dear mining Mouse, to fill in the gaps on this intel."

"And to give permission for Remy to come along. We'll take good care of him, I promise," Sosol added with a laugh. Remy didn't need taking care of, but Max always freaked out when he came home injured.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yeah...seein' as I dunno what'll happen, seems only right to clear it by you first." smiled Remy, pecking her cheek. "Cause you matter a lot more than exacting justice on a whim."  

[Azana Brown]

"Thanks...I know ya can handle it. I just don't like seein' ya come back all beat up, ya know? Even if ya heal fast." Max leaned against him, flipping through the folder. "Magic drugs? What, normal ones not psychedelic enough? Sheesh...alright. Remy, ya can go with 'em. I'll dig up what I can on these losers."

"Alright! Team of three with James as backup? They don't stand a chance!" Azana raised a fist to the air, excited about her first real mission in a while.

"I almost feel sorry for them..." Sosol added, frowning at the drug profiles in the folder. "Almost."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Woo! All right!" cheered Remy, punching the air. "Sweet sting mission's a go!"

Charlotte giggled. "Now comes the hard part: convincing everyone else to stay out of this."  

[Azana Brown]

Azana smirked, looking to Charlotte. "Easy. It's a stealth mission; we won't tell them, and we'll sneak out."

"Ooh, I remember those days! Bedsheet ladders and everythin'!" Max beamed, running off upstairs with the folder to have a little searching fun.

"She has a point. Az and I have the cloak...and you're pretty sneaky when you want to be," Sosol smiled. "Shall I pour us a round while we go over how we'll do this...?"

"Red mist my way right out." nodded Remy. "Gotcha. This is sounding more and more fun...when do we make the move?"

Charlotte drank the juice from her ice pop with a satisfied grin.  

[Azana Brown]

"The new moon is supposed to be on Wednesday, by my estimate," Azana answered. "We'll head out after nightfall, and hopefully be back within a couple hours."

"That quick, huh?" Sosol smirked. She was getting confident in this.

"Well, yeah...it's not like we're supposed to clean up all the mess, and that's always the longest part."

"Sounds good to me!" grinned Remy. "Who's up for celebratory drinks?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Senpai rolled over, hanging over the side of the rafter. Upper half hidden beneath a flurry of heavy and thin silks, gossamer hair shimmering as it peaked from the edges. Giving a soft snore, the tired soul did not stir.

Charlotte glanced up at the snore. "Not Senpai, clearly."

For a while now, Rhett had been holed up in his room, practicing. He was getting worried now, his dad's show was coming up soon, and he'd always been there for his opening night at least... He'd always been backstage to greet him and give him a hug... It wasn't like he was a key thing for his dad's acting, but when it came to the biz, family was an important thing, his parents had reminded him of that constantly. But with no ride to the theatre, it seemed like he'd miss his opening night for the first time... The boy sighed in his bed, curling up.
