[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Gren_Eckener]

Outside of Rhett's door, there was a knock. "Housekeeping." said a gentle voice.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He looked at the door, curious, then slipped his legs over the edge of the bed.

"Coming, coming..."

Rhett rubbed his back, groaning; he hadn't realized how long he'd been there, and apparently his positioning wasn't the greatest. He turned the knob and opened, looking up.

"Oh! Um... hello, sir."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren blinked, smiling politely. "Have we met?"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Um... I... don't think so?"

He smiled nervously, placing his hands behind his head.

"...Should I have? I've really only met girls with face marks and demon guys and big eared dudes... You look pretty normal for some I've met here, haha."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren smiled, offering a hand. "I'm the Innkeeper, Gren. Nice to meet you, Mister..?"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"O-Oh, really?"

He took hold of the larger hand with both of his smaller pair, shaking it and giving an awkward bow of his head, feeling as if he had to, but feeling a little awward with the unfamiliar action.

"Nice to meet you to Mr. Gren.... I'm Rhett, Geffken."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Good to meet you, Rhett." he smiled politely. "What brings you here? You're a bit young to be here for no reason."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"I took a wrong bus on my way to my parents' house, I was sleeping over at a friends in another state... But I turned out a lot farther off then I would've imagined."

He walked backwards a bit, putting some comfortable distance between them, before turning around and holding on to a bedpost.

"My parents said that I'll be fine if I stay here a little while until they come to pick me up, and I've still got some clothes packed from when I was at my friend's house..."

Rhett looked a little fidgety though, still something else visibly on his mind as he looked to the floor then smiled up at the Innkeeper.

Gren blinked, rubbing his chin. "Is that right? " he asked, curious. "How long's it been?"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"A little over a month I think... It's been worse, if you're wondering why."

He sat on his bed's edge once more.

"It was part of my mom's idea... They don't believe that I should be too influenced by theatre to the point where I feel like I'm being forced to do it, and they're both already really busy with their acting and stuff in New York... so I stay with different families that are friends with mine, strictly Mom's orders. That's why... the bus ride and stuff."

Rhett seemed to be a very animated talker, his hands floating about and marking distinct points as well as swiping out empty air.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Oh, I see! I was wondering why you looked a bit concerned." he smiled kindly. "Please, feel free to stay as long as you need to. Is there anything I can do to make it a little more comfy here?"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"I've been okay, I guess... but uhm... there is one little thing I've been trying to figure out."

He rubbed his ginger hair, a sort of scratch habit he'd made when his mom told him not to.

"Where's the nearest bus station? I kinda need to be somewhere soon."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ah, down in town...why, do you need a lift somewhere?" he offered.  

[Azana Brown]

Max crept down the hall, stopping at Remy's door with a knock.  

[Gren_Eckener]

After a moment, the door opened, and Remy stood before Max with a lazy smile, in a hoody and scruffy jeans. "Hiya! What's up, babe?" he smiled, kissing Max's forehead.
