[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Malachai leaned up and whispered in her ear, "Well, he's all ruffled up because Senpai told him that he was wallowing in grief over his dead wife...It's clearly a sore spot for him, but he got really mad, and his own magic ate his hand. I don't think that playtime'd help him out, though I'd like that."  

[Astra_Senpai]

He didn't wince, only watched, he was numb now- that numbness was a saving grace, "It's h-hard w-with-thout h-her. She w-was m-my ever-ryth-thing, I d-did-dn't ex...ist b-before h-her," blue lenses looked pleadingly to Charlotte, "H-how d-do y-you c-cont-tinue w-when y-you d-don't ex..ist... c-c-can't with-thout the one w-who b-b-brough...t y-you t-t-t-to lif..e?"

"Well..." she said gently, green eyes reflecting back. "You've made it this far, in the deepest of sorrow, for years...I think that's proof that you're strong enough, at the very least. There are plenty of people who don't exist here, Kiran...and yet, they live on so much less."

Finishing her bandaging, she patted his hand, smiling slightly. "I believe in you, even if you don't...because your love keeps her in honor. It is your life afterward that must be the testament."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kiran flexed his hand and sighed, "Th-thank y-you."
He was calm now- well numb at least. Slowly he would move to hug the woman and if he was still close enough, Malachai as well. "I c-c-can...not t-t-take m-more on her- tonight...later- I will...I w-will tell y-you lat-ter." He had no strength and bowed his head, "...I c-can't s-seem to g-get up...I've u-used all m-my st-streng..th."

Charlotte pecked his cheek. "The morning will come, Kiran. It'll feel a bit better then. Malachai?"

Malachai smiled, gently picking up Kiran princess-style and trotting up the stairs. "Bed, bed, bed..."

Charlotte sighed in their leaving. "Poor man."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kiran blushed lightly at the affection, bowing his head slightly. He could not and did not protest in the slightest to the carry. He was grateful beyond words could say. It would not be hard to direct Malachai to his room, to open the door and reveal the paper covered walls, floors and furniture. Once placed securely on or near the bed, Kiran would give his thanks in a long hug- despite the possibility of awkward angles.

Malachai trilled slightly, hugging back, wrapping his wings about the whole affair as an added affection. Once Kiran was duly soothed, he clumsily tucked the man into bed and trotted back downstairs, feeling mightily accomplished.  

[Azana Brown]

"Wow," Max said as Kiran was carried off. "He's really hung up on the whole thing, ain't he?" She popped into the kitchen momentarily, emerging with a smoothie a couple minutes later. "Hope he'll be alright...he's really nice, if totally high-strung."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yeah..." sighed Charlotte, washing her hands. "I have no idea what the rest of it was about, but at least I can comfort the bereaved bit?"

Malachai arrived, peering at the smoothie. "Ooooh, that looks good! What is it?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Five years, though...that's, like, serious therapy-level messed up," Max frowned before being distracted by Malachai. "This? I was just messing around with more tropical flavors. Want a sip?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yeah, but the last thing anyone that torn up wants to hear about is therapy, you know?" sighed Charlotte, taking up her teacup. "Gotta work your way around this, have finesse...besides, the way he was talking, I think this is deeper than love, on some levels."

Malachai nodded, bouncing on his heels. "Yes please!"  

[Azana Brown]

Max handed it off to Malachai. "Just don't drink it all, 'kay?" She warned him before turning to Charlotte. "I guess that'll be something y'all will have to do...I'm not exactly the best at finesse. Well, not with relationship stuff. Or dead people."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Aw, that's okay. It's a good thing to leave to old folks like me; we've lost lotsa people." she chuckled. "Maybe I'll conscript Orrin too. He's probably got it just as bad as I do."

Malachai took a sip or two before handing it back with a pleased smile. "It tastes like Kristen! Lots of mango!"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Well... yeaahh! Of course that would be more useful!"

Rhett nodded excitedly. If things like the demon and the long-eared guy were real, he should've expected as much, but... Wow! His eyes shone brightly, looking down at his iTouch and tapping through a few things.

"Right, well the showing's right here on the outskirts of Durem..."

He tapped and expanded an area, showing the theatre house.
