[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel worried at her lower lip a moment, "No- I'm afraid I'm just being a bit dramatic...sorry." Watching Charlotte, smiling sweetly, "Thank you." She was content to hold the new fabric, her mind half on what she had been cooking and wait- shifting from foot to foot. "I'm afraid I let my mind wander while I was cutting vegetables. My attendant used to warn me it'd get me hurt in the kitchen- I suppose I should have listened more intently."

"I should say they were right." frowned Charlotte, looking to Malachai, who offered a tube hopefully. She took it and addressed the wound. "Bandaid."

Malachai held one out, and Charlotte soon had Tam bandaged up. "There...now, be more careful. No blood got in the food, did it?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel wiggled her finger once Charlotte was done, smiling pearly white fangs, "Thank you, Both! And no- I was very lucky because there are not a great deal of pearl onions left." She cleaned up the bits and pieces from the wrapping, throwing them away before moving back to the kitchen. "I will change knives, wash my hands and continue. If you would like- there should be plenty to share everyone in the room?"

Mal, ever-ready for something new, raised his hand. "I smell chicken-beef."

"Depends. What're you making?" asked Charlotte, washing her hands.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Well, if this teleporter's as instantaneous as I think it is, tomorrow would be as good a day as any."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Essentially it will be vegetable stuffed chicken boiled in beef stock and baked with a few spices. I'm afraid I didn't have the patience or ingredients for duck a l'orange or cuisses de grenouilles- but it should be good all the same," she answered with a nod. After waiting her turn, Tamriel washed her hands, washed the blade, still getting a new one to continue chopping with but setting it aside for a ladle. She'd skim the fat of the chicken from the top of the boiling water, placing it into a small bowl for later.

"All right. I'm in the apartment down that hall." he said, pointing into the hallway. "Just knock."

Standing up, he smiled kindly. "So, back to my original question...need any housekeeping?"

Malachai blinked as Tam went back into the kitchen. "Kwees day Gren..oils?" he asked Charlotte.

"No, Mal...don't worry about it." sighed Charlotte

Pulling a baking pan, setting the oven, turning off the burner and carefully pouring half the beef broth into the pan Tamriel hummed contently. Being careful to not dump the chicken, she poured the rest of the broth down the drain, "Hot... hot...hot...now for the cold water." Adding cold water to cool down the boiled bird, she set it to the side- refilling her wine glass and taking a sip. "Oh much better when a little warm."

Glass in hand, she peeked out of the kitchen, "...if you want I could make sauteed apples for a side?"

"I'm not very hungry, honestly." said Charlotte, who was now back to her tea.

Malachai nodded. "I'll eat it!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel nodded, her smile changing only slightly, "It won't take but a few moments," she turned, paused and turned back, "Charlotte, please let me know if you want anything... even if it's just more tea." She slipped back into the kitchen- maybe she had been spending too much time with Bure?

Pulling out the appropriate pans and utensils Tamriel went to making the sauteed apples- taking a few breaks to sip the wine and finish preparing the chicken before popping it into the oven.

"All right, thank you sir!"

On the housekeeping, he shook his head and smiled brightly.

"Nope, everything's shipshape in here!"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Will do." she said, pulling out her gameboy.

Malachai sighed, sniffing the air a moment before following Tam into the kitchen. "Can I watch?"

"Excellent. I'm movin' on, then. But hey, call me Gren, all right?" he smiled crookedly, heading away. "See you later!"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Whuh?"

He looked down the hall as he left.

"But you're so tall though!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel smiled, "Of course you may." She was slicing the apples thin and tossing them into a pan filled with butter, salt and cinnamon sugar. "I'm afraid after my err I've been a bit of a hermit. How have you been?" Her tone was light, merry but her attention was focused on the cutting.

He looked back, confused. "Well, yes...what's that got to do with my name?"

Malachai's tail lashed as he came in, watching her slice apples. "I'm happy! I have a friend with benefits, and the food smells good. But you aren't a hermit, if you're walking around. What err?"
