[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel puckered her lips a bit, more to the man not even having the chance to put his bag away before she had called him to sit. Maybe a meal would do him good- it was in bad taste not to feed your guests. "A whole other dimension and you didn't even get to try some of their cuisine? Maybe it was for the better- in some fae courts if you eat their food you have to stay until your host passes away or releases you."

She disappeared for a long moment, returning with a glass of cold water and vibrant blonde hair, she set it on the counter for him, "Is water alright?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Well, it wasn't quite like that...I mean, Gareus is from there, and he's fine." he chuckled, tucking into his meal. "And I didn't get to try the water...I got through the jungle, and got to hug the guide. He was this really cute little critter named Teemo."

He blinked, looking up. "Oh, oh, I'm sorry, I misheard you! Water's perfect, thank you!" he said sheepishly.

Tamriel bobbed her head, "You're very welcome," taking up her water filled wine glass and leaning against the bar. She was careful to give him space- it was rude to crowd someone while they ate. "I'm not sure who Gareus is- I'm afraid I haven't met him," she admitted. Sipping at her water, watching him eat- it was a rewarding feeling to see people eat the food she made... maybe mechanics weren't what she was good at, disassembling things sure but she wasn't much for putting them back together. "It sounds like you had a very good time. Were you gone long?"

"Not too long...just about the day." he said, sipping his water gratefully. "But I'm sure you've seen him around. Brown hair, muttonchops..."  

[Astra_Senpai]

She thought on it for a long moment, then shook her head, her hair returning to the soft blue, "I'm afraid I've been holed up in my room for so long I've missed a deal of chances to socialize with too many people. But if he's as nice as you are then I shouldn't have to worry." She sipped her water and hummed, "Teemo is a very unique name, what kind of creature did you say he was?"

"A yordle?" he offered. "He was this cute little fuzzy thing, like a half-panda half-cat thing in an army helmet...a real sweetie."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel laughed softly, shaking her head slightly, "I can't fathom- they must be terribly adorable." She waited, "Is it you who grows the vegetables here?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yes." he smiled, enjoying his chicken. "Why d'you ask?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She smiled, "I really like the onions. They are sweet and don't overpower the other vegetables when cooked."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ah, thank you. I'm glad they aren't too young; most of the other crops are." he smiled, enjoying an onion. "I like them pearled."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"I have to admit I'll have to sneak down for them once in a while now that I know they're here," she gave a nod, blonde once again but a quick flicker back to blue. "What else do you grow? Is gardening hard to do?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"It's not hard if you know how. The plants do all the work; I just give them the means." he smiled. "Just ask if you need anything from there, okay? Or leave me a note?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel bobbed her head, "I could do that...." She played with her rings, visibly nervous to ask- she didn't want to impose but maybe... "Maybe I could help you one day? Or... just watch- I wouldn't want to mess anything up."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Adam chuckled warmly, finishing his meal. "Shucks, everyone wants to help out in the garden these days...sure! You can help me water tomorrow...and, if you're here in the fall, I'd love help to harvest...definitely the hardest time."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel gasped, giggled, "Really? Oh thank you! I'm so happy! I've never gardened before... what do you wear when you garden?" She set her glass down, "Why is harvesting hard?"
