[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Malachai smiled broadly, proud, tail swaying slowly in delight. "He's veeery nice, and generous...and delicious too, oh yes~!" he purred, blissful before catching himself, coughing. "S-sorry. He's also very nice and patient. He's teaching me to write and spell, and lets me sit on his lap when he's working and rubs my horns. He's the best friend with benefits ever!"

Tamriel blushed bright red, her mind wandering to only one thing for a reaction like that. She threw away her apple, happy she hadn't been working the juice from the apple when he'd said that. She smiled, "It sounds like he takes very good care of you and you of him." She waved a modestly jeweled hand, she felt so naked without them- but was glad for the lack of attention to the blond hair... shaking her head slightly, "You light up a particular was when you talk about him."

"Really?" he thought aloud. "I really like him, so I guess I just get excited when I think about him. He's as nice as Adam!"

He wiggled in his seat, pleased. "I wanna take are of him too. We're friends, after all!"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

Seeing that Tamriel had struck up conversation with Malachai, he let her do so, though the chattery little imp was getting on his last nerve just looking at him. And then Malachai was being chummy with him! Where had that come from? Then he rationalized that they were both demons, making him sigh mentally. There were times when he wished he understood Tamriel's background as well as this demon so easily seemed to... or perhaps he was just assuming things. He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he let her carry on and went to the kitchen for only a moment, passing her small smiles when they passed by each other, but not letting her be too distracted from her main conversation. He would fix himself some a plain cheese and bologna sandwich, cutting it in four before moving on to a nearby table and eating quietly.

Tamriel nodded. It was nice seeing little love blossoms even in someone like Malachai. She'd only known a few- but this off duty thing... it seemed to have it's benefits. She almost wished she could do the same, but she was unlucky to not have that option.

She laced her fingers and hummed softly, watching Bure, feeling a little bad for having cut him out of the conversation. She smiled at him, that smile just for him, "I understand that feeling- wanting to take care of someone."

"It's very weird." he said, quite serious, but with all of the excitement of a child who knew they were being naughty.

Looking to the pixie, Mal waved, scratching his bare chest! "Hi Bure! Hi! You found a sleeping buddy?"  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He looked up as she smiled, just the forming of it enough to make his wings quiver a little. Bure couldn't help but smile a little himself, giving her a little toast with a sandwich square even as he sat at his table.

Suddenly brought into the conversation by Malachai, he smirked.

"Yeah, a sleeping buddy. Good, good sleeping buddy."

"Me too!" he smiled broadly. "Congratulations!"

Tamriel blushed, did either man have any idea what that phrasing of words could do to a girls reputation?! Wrapping one arm around her waist and the other hiding her face she laughed softly, "I may have stumbled myself into ruin."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"I overheard, congrats to you too, man."

He got up, bringing the last two squares of his sandwich over to join the situation.

"And it's what you signed up for, isn't it? Goodness knows we've already seen the bricks falling."

Bure tapped the side of his nose, then wagged a point to Tamriel.

"But that's how you rebuild yourself into something better, sometimes."

Her blush deepened, "Yes, but must it be said like that? A sleeping buddy- in the wrong hands it could be disastrous. If Kish had heard it- my Elders would descend on us like vultures!" She laughed softly, shaking her head a bit, "And have I really lost so much to myself already? Maybe a small bit here and there but I am still the same."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"Haha, very well... The official name of our relationship will take some time to get to, but... Well, yeesh, what would you want to call this anyways? Would putting 'part-time' in front of it work for you?"

He laughed brightly, knowing he was just making it sound worse. The pixie pet her lap for a small comfort, smiling.

"And if I recall, it was the old you that you wanted to get away from, no? Learn how to be better socially... I dunno. When it comes down to it, you're just Tamriel, no? What more can people ask for?"

"Bure and I slept together once, and nobody made a fuss." said Mal, baffled.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

Bure shook his head, chuckling.

"They connotate sleeping together to bed activities around here, Mal... I don't know, probably just paranoid about such things."

He squinted, frowning. "Humans are so weird...there's a perfectly good phrase for it, "having sex", why don't they use that? There's no shame in it."
