Iri smiled politly at the two new men. "I'm sorry. I would love to meet you two. But I have been walking for several days and need some rest and I'm sure my friend here does too."
Iri left a stack of gold coins on the counter and headed upstairs into one of the spare rooms.

Kageko walked into the inn shortly after Ultima, who had ran ahead of her. She saw a new face. "Vampire?" she wondered as she read his aura. As usual, she kept her mind blocked.

Ultima looked at his scroll. It was an invite. "Interesting." It had said, plain as day, he was invited to meet Derioth on none-violent terms. "I'll go meet him then." Ultima said out loud. He couldn't do it tonight, getting knightsoul out was workout enough, he'd want his energy. "No weapons, no magic, i can do that." He said. He looked at knightsoul and Kageko, who'd finally made it. "Do you guys think i should meet him on his terms, it says right here i am to meet Derioth." He showed them the scroll.

Zefi turned towards Kageko, "Do you have a couple moments?" Zefi motioned towards the table she was sitting at and laughed to herself as Kaget set up blocks also.

Kageko looked at the scroll. "Mind explaining in detail who Derioth is exactly?" Kageko answered, "You only told me his name." Once again, a half-truth. Kageko knew much more about Derioth than Ultima had told her, but she wasn't going to reveal that. She continued to guard her mind, just in case the vampire could read it.
She turned when Zefi asked for some time. "Sure," she responded, "after Ultima answers my question. That is, if he wants to."

Ultima shrugged. "I barely know him, i know he was Erik's trainer, and he cursed me, that's all." He said lying. Erik finished it for him. "He's a living suit of armor that's been around for more than two thousand years." He said. "He was my master, and the leader of my clan, but he accidently killed the wrong person on one of his jobs and was cursed with madness." Ultima shrugged again. "I never knew." He said.

Fenyx stood up, looking at Ultima. "I honestly don't know who this Derioth guy is, but he sounds like your average mage after a few hundred years. What are you trying to do with him?" Fenyx looked at Vincente. "And I'm pretty sure Shinso vampires are mages who simply use vampirism to boost personal magic abilities, so they don't technically have to feed, they just do so to gain power."

Kageko thought for a while, "I don't know then. It's your decision whether or not you want to meet him. If he's cursed you, without killing you, then it's either that he wants you alive or you were too strong for him to kill you. He probably wants to do something. However, we can't be too sure that this isn't just a trap. The decision is your's."
With that she turned and walked over to Zefi's table. "So?" she asked.

legend and Key appeared in the inn.Legend walked over to the couch as usual,but Key stared out a window.He had a feeling something was here.He squinted and could make out a body.He turned his head and sat down on a bench.

Vincente didn't hear him, he was wrapped up in blood. The taste was great, and now the sun was going down, even better. Ultima closed the scroll. "OK, i'll just go meet him, i might go tonight." He said. He opened it again and looked at the terms. "I've got no choice." He said reading the rest of the scroll. Erik laughed. "I only said he's been around for two thousand or so years, he didn't use magic to bind his soul to his armor, death did it for him, plus i barely told you anything." He said.

Key heard Ultima.
"Wait."Key said.he held up a hand."Before you consider that,consider what he might do to you.I have the feeling you're walking into a trap.I saw a man in the bushes out there.Derioth hates me and will get revenge on anybody or anything without even thinking.He's faced Erik before and tried to kill you both.Everything adds up to a trap.It's like walking into death.If you want to live,you don't do it.If you want to die,you do it.Get it?"

Zefi waited for Kageko to respond and began looking around. She came over and Zefi snapped out of her daze."Oh sorry. You just never answered my question. I wanted to ask that if in your collection of scrolls I could retrieve one if i never left your dimension with it. I just needed to check something."

Ultima looked out the window. "That's my escort, i guess i can't wait til tomorrow." He said. Ultima turned back to key. "I'd ask you to come along, but your probably tired and want to talk to everyone." Erik didn't speak. Derioth was a shewd business man when needed to be. "I'll let you go Ultima, but if anything happens, count on me." He said. The escort came inside and bowed to them both. "Shall we go master Hayabusa?" He asked.

Kageko couldn't help but perk up at Legend's comment as she waited for Zefi. She was about to turn n her chair and say something about how bad that will be considering how Ultima's family had made a contract with Death when Zefi started conversing with her. That was both good and bad. Good because it kept Kageko from letting something slip. Bad because that wasn't an easy question to answer. She hesitated, then replied, "Sorry Zefi, but I can't. I-I don't think letting people in is a good idea.... Actually, I'm really not supposed to let people come in." Kageko got ready for Zefi's temper tantrum or whatever it was that she would do.
