Gets comfortable in chair and begins to fall asleep.

Crystal gets up and runs into the girls dormitory. She quickly returns with a dark-looking smelly thing and sets it by the door on the right hand side with a smile. "Much better don't you think? I put them all around the school so everyone can enjoy them."

((*cries because no one has been posting, even on the weekend*))  

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas rushes into the room the door flinging madly behind her. Noticing Kamilla sleeping she muffles the noise with a spell from her wand.
Sonas looks at Crystal. "What exactly are those things?" She whispers so as not wake Kamilla.

((So Sorry I had a packed weekend and yesterday I was a very negative person so I didn't want to spread that to people online....))

After being asleep for an hour or so wakes up. Looks around the Common Room before standing up and stretching some.

"Yay!" Crystal glomps Sonas as soon as she sees her. "It's a Halloween charm! It's to honor the dead and the dying." She says very solemnly. "A long time ago it was thought to welcome spirits back to the world during All Hallow's Eve, which is why it goes just inside the door there. Or so my Gran said. She taught me to make them after my mum died."

Alexander yawned slightly and stretched his arms as he curled deeper into his chair. He had neglected to sign up for his classes so far, but he would do so soon, just as soon as he figured out what it was that he wanted to take. The young Slytherin looked over at the other students talking about Halloween and perked up. He absolutely loved the holiday.

Looks at Crystal after she said what the plants are for. Pretty cool hon. I know on Hallow's eve we need to extinguish the fire and light it back up on Nov 1st.

"We do? I didn't know that." Crystal contemplates. "I'm not sure cool is the word I would use for the charms though. I mean, they have a lot of meaning for me. Like Mum and Dad and Gran. Actually, I don't know if Dad's dead, he just sort of disappeared. No one really cared because he's a muggle. And I don't really remember Mum, but I was really close to Gran."

Nods I can understand that. As for saying cool i meant on what it's for. I learned something new. Now for the Hallow's eve and the need to extinguish the fire and light it back up on Nov 1st. It is a Celt tradition. It's to respect the dead and let those that have passed throughout the year and is trapped tobe finally and go on. Then on Nov. 1st they relight the fire from a bonfire that burned all throughout Halloween day, to begin another year. I've been slowly learning about the Celts and all.

"Interesting. We should do that. You really love that Celtic stuff, don't you? How can you stand to learn about it slowly? If I'm interested in something, I want to know everything about it right away."

Smiles widely. Yes i really love the Celtic stuff. There is just something about it i am drawn to. Like a calling i guess you could say. Tilts head Well it's not really slow as more of a want to make sure i understand it and have it down pact. Don't want to learn something and it be the wrong thing.

"I guess I sort of understand. When I want to learn about something I'm usually so tenacious it's like impossible to keep the truth from me. Ironically, school is the only place where it actually takes me a long time to learn because I have to wait between lessons and tend to lose interest after a month or so."  

[Nite of Storms]

Sonas tilts her head slightly not really understanding the depth of Halloween. She smiles at the Crystal and Kamilla though and how exubriant their faces have become.
"Just don't let anything bad into the common room and we should be okay."

Sonas watches Alexander debating rather she should go force him to sign up for some classes.
