"I have been trying to replicate the experience to no avail," Kristen said, the joyful memory fading back into the present. "They said I needed to ignite my spirit first, and the flame would follow. I have apparently failed to do so to this day." She forced a grin, though and nodded to the other statement.
"I would happily display my manipulation skills, and I am most certain that Max would dye us both."
"Well, ya ain't gonna be put in the Labs much, but I doubt they're gonna put that spatial stuff ta waste. Maybe recon, or mappin' stuff. That bit of pentacle will do ya good if you wanna be in the field...but yeah, looks like your big draw is in magic, sweetie." Max pointed them out on the screen.
"They wanna try an' draw on all the gifts, not just one set...not after seein' how they can work together. The whole really is bigger than just the parts." She beamed, printing out the results and pointing to the printer. "Anywho! Yeah, I'm sure you'll be super awesome. I'd join 'em, if I weren't so darned busy already. B'sides, contract work is sweet!"

Honey cheered, jumping up and down on her toes, happy to have the chance to see. Boy people were generous with their abilities around here. Sure Honey could play guitar but these people- these people could actually use magic! Actually use magic! Honey had waited her whole life and prayed for stuff like this to be real!
"So.. ya' go' ta' finna' passion? Som'in li'e tha'?" she asked, still bouncing on her toes.

"I believe that is the meaning of their advice," Kristen replied resolutely. "I have done much in an attempt to find it. I worked with a glassblower, tried my hand in the kitchen in more ways than one, even divined by fire a few times. I just have not found my passion. I have not ignited my spirit...I have not felt like I did that day."

Honey scratched her head, then tilted it to the side, "Par'on this, Lo'e, bu' why's it gotta' be fire rela'ed? I'n't there an'thin' tha' ma'es ya' feel tha' wa' tha' ya' do ca' be jus' as aweso'e? Li'e sunse' ata bea'h wit' ya' ma'es or a son' ya' 'ear tha' no mat'er ya' moo' lif's ya' up?"

Kristen hummed in thought. "Well, I figured if I could find a meaningful use for my gift, it would spark my passion. However, I am open to suggestion...to find something that brings back that feeling. It is not something I have devoted a lot of time to until recently. I cannot help but believe I have plenty to make up for."

"Well ya' 'ave plen'y o ti'e ta' fig're it ou' fo' su'e," Honey would stop playing her air guitar and tap her own temple, "dou't i'll 'elp ya' bu' fo' me is musi'- a goo' son' an I ca' see tha' stin's in ma' 'ead. Som'in' tha' comes nat'ral." She'd shrug, hoping what she said was helpful but she'd found her advice rarely helped others. Honey was more of a let's go party kind of friend or here's my shoulder to cry on kind of friend... she hoped Kristen would want to be friends.
She'd snap her fingers and chirp, "Wha' co'or are ya' gonna' ge'?"

"I usually choose orange...it is a nice transiition," Kristen answered. "I am sure Max will be able to find your pink, as well." She smiled...what came naturally. That was a difficult proposition to think about...very little in her life seemed natural anymore. Was that what she had to find?

Honey laughed shaking her head, a few smaller locks twisting and staying as they fell, " I's a won'er wha' foo' colorin' ca' do- ah, Lo'e?" Her music turned to Call Me Maybe Honey turned it down a bit more- she was still sampling that song for a project but it was really distracting when you were trying to talk. Awesome for doing crisscrosses or tree climbing though. " 'Ou loo' li'e tha' serious ty'e. So wha's it 'ou do fo' fun?"

"I..." Kristen glanced away sheepishly. "I have been trying many things. Music, movies, games, dancing...even origami. They are all enjoyable, and I do have fun, plenty more than previously."

Kristen chuckled lightly. "Max asked me once or twice to go with her...I think she has forgotten with all her business. I have no idea how she does all she does and still stay sane."

"...she has sketches," Kristen said after a moment. "I believe she would probably give them to Remy to let him look over them with an artist's eye before sending them on." She hummed in thought...dancing...she had taken lessons, but it was nothing like that one random day on stage. Maybe...
"...may I attend one of these parties with you...? I can create my own glowsticks, in a way..."

Honey jumped up and would reach out to taken Kristen's hands- stopping herself. You're not in London anymore, Honeybee. Honey's hesitation would turn into spread arms and a radiated excitement, "O cour'e, Kris'en! I'd be 'appy ta' 'ave an an'el li'e 'ou alon'!" Honey hopped back and spun, "I be' 'ou woul' be righ' lo'ly los' in a crow' wit' tha' music vibra'ing to ya' co'e."
