"Well, that's for the best, though...better to be who you are when you find it." she nodded, smiling proudly at the praise to her darling. "He sure is...I can't wait for you to meet him; you'll be surprised and understand all at once."  

[Astra_Senpai]

A giggle, "I canno' wai'." She bobbed her head, "I's a good thin' I 'ave a ston' ticker. At this ra'e I should o' keeled o'er." Honey put her hands out in front of her, "I can play my guitar an' sin' an' I go' good luck with the mesmerizin' thin'- bu' you all 'ave ac'ual magic. I's amazin."

"Well, sort of magic..." she said with a giggle. "You could learn magic."

Honey chirped, hopping up to her toes, her arms out wide and waving with excitement, " Me? Ya thin' so? Nah- tha' woul' be wild! Wha' in the worl' woul' I do wit' it? Lord Abo'e. Ya' really thin' I coul' learn how?"

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, ti--CLUNK.

Kal blinked at the cane in hand. That was peculiar. He still held it in the cloth he'd been polishing it with. Yet, the polish was dry, and had smudged on the wood. He looked about the room. Had he been lost to reverie? The smudging in the polish certainly seemed so, but he did not recall thinking on anything. The last thing the clockwork man remembered was polishing the cane after cleaning the grease from it. A small inner whirring signaled that Kal pushed the oddness aside. He set back to work fixing the polish on his cane that he could return downstairs to speak to his remarkable new companion. Charlotte, was quite interesting, and he was even interested in talking with the partially dressed, horned man.

When he'd completed his work, Kal returned his glove to his hand, (he'd expected it to still be damp, not dry,) and left his room. His useless arm tucked in his vest as always, the gentleman strolled downstairs, his cane clicking on the floor. He'd have to ask Charlotte about the origin of her powers. They were fascinating. The clockwork man smiled as he mildly wondered if she were a genie or a sorceress.

A man of indiscernable age walked drowsily downstairs, yawning while he carefully brushed the last hints of bedhead out of his long, silky white hair. He turned his attention to the room, greatly intrigued by everyone he found there, but mostly fixed on Charlotte.

"Hello," he greeted with a gentle grin, looking to the guitarist. "And who might you be?"

"Of course you can, Honey. Even if it turns out that you don't have latent talent, there's always magical items! Max uses those all the time!" said the girl cheerfully before chirping merrily, hopping up and gently pouncing on the silvertop in greeting. "Hellooooo, my sleepy prince! We have new friends!"

"Oo rig't I'd lo'e tha."
The words almost wishing I was straight were what came to Honey's mind. Her freckled face tinging with the slightest of blushes and baby blues wide for only a moment. Was everyone here secretly a model? Maybe Honey'd actually wandered onto some movie set and it was just a good laugh. She shook her pink noggin before her cheshire grin returned and her small hand flew out for a shake, thought slightly off to the side as Charlotte was ah.. making nice, "'Oney Peregrine, Dishy. Lord abo'e tha' picture does ya' no jus'ice."

Orrin happily caught Charlotte, pecking her lightly before letting go and taking Honey's hand to shake it. "Orrin Nayland...and pictures, you say?" He quirked an eyebrow, looking to Charlotte. "Bragging about me again? I'm flattered. I hope I haven't been sleeping too long..."

"Maybe, but I can't help it if you're so adorably pretty!" she said proudly, standing in a Pannish pose. "You didn't sleep too long, no worries. We didn't wake you, did we?"

His mouth was a nameful and Honey had to work it around in her head. Honestly it would sound a bit like 'Erin' when it she'd say it, double r's were always a bit hard for her. "Tha' woman's got a lo' ta' brag abou'- or 'adn't ya' looked in a mir'a la'ely?" She looked over Orrin with interest, he was a handsome bloke- how did he get his hair to that color though? Ignus had tried once and he'd ended up just very blond. Honey would have to ask to see if she could take his picture later, just to pester Ignus. Her smile grew, "Loo's bet'er than I do gettin' up."

Orrin blushed lightly, chuckling bashfully at the onslaught of compliments. "I have plenty of practice," he answered cryptically. "You're quite beautiful yourself, Honey...and that pink suits you."

"Aaaaah~, I'll get you some cocoa~" sang Charlotte, romping into the kitchen and soon returning with a cup. "Isn't her hair cute? She makes a darling hermit crab, too!"

Honey laughed, resting hands on her narrow hips, "I 'ave ta' than' ya' for the complimen' bu' I'm just a bugger chav- I ma'e beau'iful music ins'ead a 'avin a beau'iful face. An' Ma' did ma' 'air- she's righ' pro at it. Mu'h bet'er tha' food colorin'." She grinned, "I's righ' fun bein' a lit'le 'ermit crab bu' pas'ic knives is scary at tha' size, Lo'e." Honey hopped from foot to foot, energy was back.

"H-hermit crab...?!" Orrin looked between the two of them, wide-eyed in disbelief. "The trouble you get into when I'm not around...! What is it like to spend time as a crustacean?"
