[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"Glad I could help." smiled the Innkeeper. "Got a name? I'm Gren, Innkeeper around here."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"O', Lo'e, ya' my 'ero. I'll 'ave a kno' t'mora." Honey's looked up and winced, smiling her big happy smile, "Name's 'Oney Peregrine. I's nice ta' mee'cha." She tilted her fluffy pink head to the side, "'Ow'd 'ou know I was fro' the Eas'side?"

"There's no mistaking a proper Cockney; only those that grew up hearing the East End bells have it." he smiled. "Eli told me so...anyway, it's lovely to meet you." He offered his hand. "Been here long?"

Honey'd shake his hand and wondered if this Eli was a toff like Kiran. Gren didn't look like the kind to like toffs... but Honey'd been wrong before. Shrugging Honey's smile held, "Been 'ere for two a t'ree... a wee' now?" She counted on her fingers, "Seems time as got'en away from me 'ere." She chirped, "Ya' 'ave a lo'ely place 'ere- I lo'e the room an' ya' kit'hen is 'UGE."

He chuckled. "Yes, we do...but there are a lot of people here who like to cook, and more who like to eat. Makes sense, doesn't it? So, ah, what brings you in? Anything I can get to make the stay nicer?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

First she nodded in agreement and then followed it with an enthusiastic head shake... stopped and winced. Oh that had been a poor idea. She curled back in on herself, "I'e been wan'erin' abou' seein' the worl' for inspira'ion." Her tone cheered up a bit, "Na', Gre'- I go' e'erythin' I coul' e'er need an' more in t'ere."

"Mmkay, just making sure...and, you're a guitarist, you said?" he smiled. "I play piano and saxophone...maybe we could duet sometime."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"AH," Honey popped up on her feet, winced and put a hand on the couch, "I'd be 'onored ta' play wit' ya'. Ya' real'y mean it? Ya' play bot'? 'Ow lon'? W'ere ya' play at? Ten'r or Al'o? Oh- I stood up too fas'," and slowly sank back to the floor.

"Uh...yes, I mean it...not at the same time, since I was a teenager, and tenor." he smiled, chuckling. "What sort of music do you play?"

"I play it all. I don' care if i's roc', blues, clas'ic, me'al, ja'- if I can fi'ure it out I play it. I ca' sin' most a wha' I 'ear af'er a few roun's a lis'enin'," Honey shrugged, a quiet modest feel to her tone- almost an awe feeling to it, "I's 'ard ta' explain... music comes on an' I jus' see the stin's in my 'ead and canno' 'elp bu follow alon'... Wha' 'bout 'ou?"

He smiled, in a way that was crooked and affectionate all at once. "That sounds familiar, in its own way...and that's a beautiful thought indeed. I bet it keeps you up at times, eh?"

A blush crossed her freckled nose, "I don' care ta' be wi'hou' some soun'. I play in my slee' an' used ta' sin' too... bu' only when I'm st'essed. I's rare ta' ge' tha' ba' but," she shrugged, fidgeting a bit, her broad smile returning, "I'm a nigh'mare a' fes'ivals. Ah my ma'es always go' so mad cause it's 'ard ta' kee' from strummin' alon'."

He hummed, thinking a moment. "Yeah...ha, that'd probably bother me too. What about just air-guitaring?"

Honey chirped, slowly standing up, "I ca' do tha' to anythin' I 'ear," she tapped her temple, even on her toes she was so short compared to Gren, "the strin's in my 'ead are wha' keep me on trac. I's 'ow I play in my slee'- used ta' piss off my ma'e Ingus- he jus' wasn' goo' at dodgin' the solos. Ah an mo'ies are 'orrible- canno' sit still tha' lon' no way."

He grinned, chuckling. "I can only imagine...pause all the time, huh? Is your head feeling better?"
