"Uh, no, actually." he said sheepishly, holding up the handheld device. "I'm no mage; another resident here made a teleporter."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Honey chipped and tilted her head to the side putting her hands behind her back to keep her impulse to touch under control. It only encouraged her to do small toe pops. "A wha'? someone actually buil' that?" She gasped, hopped, her hands out and inches away then promptly placed behind her back, awe on her voice, "'E a doctor didn't 'e!"

"Yep, someone built it...this is the older model, truthfully. But he's not a doctor. Just one of the resident geniuses." smiled the innkeep. "Care to see how it works?"

Honey's hands pressed against her chest, fingers laced and chirped that sound to deafen dogs and scatter birds, "Really, Lo'e? Yes! Please, YES!"

"All right...well, here." he said, walking over and showing her the device. "It's very easy...you put in the coordinates here, with the help of the GPS here...hit the button here, and you're gone in a flash. User-friendly, I think they still say?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Is tha' so? It loo's nice 'nough. 'Ow far can ya' travel? 'Ow's it work... li'e is it po'ered t'rough magic or some tec'nobab'le? Does it always fla'h li'e tha' when ya' come an go? I may 'ave ta get some maddoggers ta' ward off the daz'les." Honey swayed slightly on her toes, studying the look of it. Her hands had returned behind her back, fingers laced- it was about as adult as she could be.

"I don't know how far it goes, and I don't know how it works." he laughed. "But it always flashes like that, right...I was only using it because I had a ways to go. Usually I walk or drive."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Mus' be grea' if ya' runnin' la'e for a gig or a da'e." Honey returned to bouncing on her toes, plenty of energy to spare and the weather certainly not improved. "I li'e walkin... well jog'in an run'in mos'ly. 'Ard ta' kee' a slow pace sometimes." Maybe later she'd do laps on the stairs or go back into the rafters to get a better look at that little black flower. Honey hummed, Gren had mentioned someone earlier- someone who'd talked about home and about accents, "Wha's a ELI? Is sat li'e a JIM?"

"Huh?" he blinked, frowning slightly. "Eli's my husband."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Ohhhhhh, I see," she snapped her fingers, "Jus' my luck. I know a bloke or two tha' woul' lo'e 'ou." She paused, holding her chin in thought and paled looking at him, a tinge on panic in her tone at his expression, "Beg'in ya' pardon- I didno' mean anythin' by it- ah... is a bad 'abit. I ask wha' instea' o' who an' I'm sor'y, Gre'- I didno' mean anythin' by it."

He chuckled, beaming as the confusion cleared. "Oh, no, don't worry about it! It's pretty funny, actually! Never heard him compared to a robot before; he's a huge flirt, really."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"As is any pro'er gen'leman." Honey's smile grew wide and she pointed at Gren, "Oy, Cha'lo'e! This is the fa'e ya' ma'e- tha' lo'ey do'ey fa'e." She grinned broadly, "I lo'e tha' look on peo'le's faces. Wha' par' a Jolly Ol' is Eli fro?"

He smiled bashfully, glancing away. "I'm not sure...have you ever heard of the MacPere family? He''s going to inherit the Lordship..."

Wheels turned in her head and it was visible. She stepped away from Gren, hands up and airguitaring several cords as if the action was going to summon up a memory. If you knew your guitar is was Henry the Eighth, "It does no' rin' a bell ta' me bu' unless 'e's in a ban' or apar' o the ra'e scene I woul'n' know. I don' keep trac' of the upper class- mos' are goo' par'iers t'ough."

"Weeeell...I suppose you could say that they're the hoitiest toits that ever nobbed around Fancyville." he grinned. "Needless to say, a normal guy like me has a hard time at garden parties."
