Angeles watched Vincente as he began to perform some acrobatics that she found highly unnecessary and when he was finished and asked her what she had said she threw a stake at him. Not intending to stab him in any way but more simply to throw something hard at him. She laced her fingers as Xander crawled out of her pocket and fluttered away to go retrieve the stake.

I am Vincente Valtiere

Vincente caught the stake in between his fingers. "That was just as unnecessary as my agility." He felt a slight burn from catching wood in between his ingers. He handed it back to the creature who was trying to take it back. "Interesting, how many more do you have?" He asked curiously.

"Stakes or familiars?" asked Angeles holding her hand open as Xander dropped the stake into her hand, she slipped it back into the holder on her hat and smiled deviously at Vincente. She stood from her table and began to head for the stairs, "perhaps soon you will know the answers, but not this night," she smiled then ascended the stairs to her room, shutting and locking the door, tuning out the noises made by the lovers as she sat down in her chair beside the window and looked out at the world.

((going to bed. Talk in the morning.))

MacPere awoke with a quiet groan and a shift, the hand clasped within Gren's giving a light squeeze before slipping out. He scooted back from his position spooning Gren and sat up, sighing as a hand rubbed at his face.

A small smile found his lips as Gren remained asleep, hair askew, and shifted to face him. Ha, this would indeed be precious.

He climbed from the bed, nude as birth, and walked around to Gren's bedside, quietly opening the top draw and procuring his camera. Closing the draw just as gently, he strolled back to his side and knelt down, elbows against the mattress. He'd managed to figure the buttons out as he had watched its workings.

Slowly, he brought the gadget up to his eye and caught Grencia within its sights, pressing the capture button firmly. Midnight hair strewn over his shoulder and bedspread; delicate, peaceful expression adorning his face; porcelain skin glowing in the breaking sunlight...

MacPere smiled to himself. Perhaps now, with a few more photos, his love might just get a glimpse of how beautiful he was to him.

Angeles sat reading a book in her hand. For once it was not a vampire hunting book, though that was only partially true. It was the third installment of the Vampire Hunter D series which had revealed the D variant vampires into the world.

The third book was her favorite, the tale of a true love between a human and a vampire facing impossible odds against humans, vampires and hunters alike. It reminded her only slightly of the love she had for Lucifer when she was human.

A soft smile was on her lips as she continued to read under the light of the sun. It helped to take her mind off of teheencroaching date that the other vampire had made her realize was upon her.

Vincente yawned. He didn't need sleep most of the time, but last night made him tired. He relaxed in the sunlight, at least what was left, night would be here in a few hours. He walked down to the main room, a look of innocene on his face. He was smiling, though he didn't know why.

Zefi woke herself up and looked at her sleeping sister. She must have fallen asleep on a chair... when had she come in here? Zefi poked her and Zrenni awoke. "What. What do you want?" She snapped then her tone softened as she saw Zefi. "Oh hey Zefi, whats new. I needed to talk to you about our trip, I don't think it would be a good idea..." Zrenni stopped when she looked at Zefi. "I know. I know they aren't... here ... anymore." Zefi's voice was quiet and she could feel the light tears on her face.

Kageko walked back into the inn. She was absolutely sure of one piece of info after double-checking it back home. Now all she needed was to tell Zefi. She checked to see that Zefi's aura was awake and walked upstairs, tracking her aura to the room she was in. She knocked on the door and asked, "Zefi?". She could feel that Zefi's aura was sad, and she had an idea why. "Why did she have to go to bed so early yesterday," Kageko couldn't help but think to herself. As usual, Kageko kept her mind blocked.

Zefi heard knocking and her sister nodded. Zrenni left the room and looked at Kageko. She said nothing and went downstairs. Zefi sat down on her bed and looked up. "Hey Kageko. What's up?" Zefi kept her voice happy even though she knew that Kageko knew she was sad. It didn't matter anymore.

Kageko decided to stick to the original plan of what she was going to say yesterday. Kageko started, "Zefi, the scrolls don't lie. If they say that you're parents are dead, then they're dead. If they say that you're parents are alive, then they're alive. I'm sorry, if you really did read that you're parents were dead, then they are dead. If they're dead, there's nothing I can do to help you." Not a single word of it was a lie.
Kageko finished, "However, I can help you."

"I know that already but that was totally confusing." Zefi said not bothering to smile. "If my parent's are dead and you cant help me then how can you help me?"

Kageko couldn't help but smile, "Zefi, when have I ever said that your parents are dead?"

"You said that if I read that they were dead... then they were dead. you told me that just..." Zefi pushed the though out of her mind, She couldn't get her hopes up again. No... not until she was positive. "You said... you told me that the scrolls don't lie."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:59 pm

Kageko replied, "Yes, but who ever said that you read the scroll correctly? Other than you? While it was your scroll, that doesn't mean that you translated it perfectly. You've never been taught to read in that language so you were bound to make mistakes."

"I didn't translate it though... it was already in my language..." Zefi dazed off in thought again.
