It took Honey a few moments to recover. She just... really? REALLY? Had she wandered into a portal where all the men were just... breathtaking? Maybe it was because they were aesthetically pleasing more than anything but LORD ABOVE these people here were almost... super models. She beamed sunshine and rainbows, "'E soun's won'erful! 'Ou're a luc'y guy ta' 'ave a ma'e li'e tha'. Bu' wha' do ya' mean by up ta' da'e?"

"Well, gosh, I've spent the last 400 years in Hell, Honey...I can't read modern English too good, I cant spell anything anymore because the language changed...Think of all the stuff that's happened since 1600, and that I've only had a bystander's account of it all."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her head bobbed, awe at his words slowly become becoming a modest smile,"Ohh tha's wha' ya' mean. I forge' someti'es ya' no' a 'uman. Ya' real'y been aroun' tha' lon'? Tha's a lon' time ta' wa'ch on the si'elines. I'm gla' ya' 'ere now t'ough." Honey went back to balancing the plate on her head and chirped, wide grin back, "Ya' wan' 'elp wit' ya' 'omewor?"

"...is that allowed?" he frowned slightly, unsure.  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Well... I was a staigh' 'A' studen' an' I 'ad 'elp all the time, bu' only when I go' stuc'. I guess I shoul' wai' until ya' ge' stuc' eh? ." Honey decided to spin the plate, too crispy to go outside the little ball of energy was stuck indoors for now. "Plus... may'e i's bes' ta' ask Fe'ix firs'- I don' wan' ya' ta' ge' in troub'e."

"I don't know; I'e never asked for help before..." he hummed, looking at the page. "But could you explain why the distribution rule happens?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She blinked, "Is ta' ge' the num'ers all on the same si'e wi'hou' the parent'esis." She wasn't sure how technical to get...so she'd keep it simple. Continuing, "Ya' jus' mul'iply was on the ou'side of the parent'esis wit' the num'ers an' varia'es on the insi'e. So tha' all ya' lef' wit' is the basic mat."

He tilted his head, brow wrinkling. "But why? What makes it important?"  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles entered down the stairs and instantly felt tense. Green eyes darted around to locate the source, perhaps a cross or some other blessed item. The fact of it was, she did not feel safe moving further down the stairs, and even took a step back up with a intrigued hum.

Honey was unsure on how to answer, so she used an example one of her tutors had, "Ah... because i's the one on the ou'si'e o the fence? By mul'iplyin' t'em t'ge'her ya' ge' e'eryone ou'side." That... wasn't very graceful.

Okay..." he said, frowning to the paper. She didn't seem to understand his question, so perhaps she didn't know either. He picked up a pencil from the floor and thought a moment before writing out the steps and the answer, penmanship still elementary at best. "This?"

Honey watched him, doing her best not to tower over. She wrinkled her nose, skin a bit stiff... she almost felt like a lobster, "Why'd ya' ge' rid o the 'x'?"

"I didn't need it." he explained. He was right.

Honey pulled out her phone, punching a few numbers in and humming as she did. "Oh no... ya' did it righ'. I's har'er when ya' don' wri'e it ou' yo'self." She tilted her head to the side, "I thin' ya' go' t'is down. 'Ow many shee's a t'is ya' alrea'y done?"

"Today? Just this one." he smiled. "I'm not that behind with math, really...it's just changed a lot on explanation."
