current projects:
Crocheting:
1 red and white striped tote back
1 red and white scarf, to match

Future (NEAR FUTURE SINCE MOST OF THIS IS FOR XMAS) projects:
Crocheting:
1 doctor who themed scarf

Mosiac:
1 framed mirror
1 tray to hold a candle

Paper mache:
1 mask (to be decorated with feathers and such after the fact)
1 tardis pencil holder

Jewelry:
1 two sting antique white pearl (like) necklace with antique gold charm
1 three string braclet with matching charm
4 other glass bead necklaces

Origami:
Ornaments from decorative paper for both my mother and sister.

Other:
I'm taking a plain glass vase and decorating it with tissue paper and reverse collage glue. Then I'm putting a cadle in it (though it would even better if I made the candle myself...maybe I will) and putting all this on the mosiac try I'm making. It is going to be an Xmas gift for my girlfriend's mother.

On the needles:

- a ballband discloth (Mason-Dixon knitting) Completed!
- baby kimono (Mason-Dixon knitting)
- a lone sock .. using the Magic Loop method

Once those are off the needles, the line-up is:

- more ballband dishcloths, love these things and they make great gifts
- a Baby Surprise Jacket
- saartje's booties to go with the BSJ
- more socks

~T

(PS: all the baby things are simply because they are small and easy to complete .. there is no other reason, I swear) heart

On the needles;

Hourglass sweater, stashbusting for yarn (greens, blues, purples, bit of black thrown in), for NaKniSweMo.

Dragon Scarf (Morehouse Merino Farm), in KNitpick's Superwash (it's for a 9 year old wink )

Magical Moebius Cowl, In Caron Glimmer, blue

Goomba Sweater (still! gonk ) for husband, based on Lion Brand hooded sweater. Mostly in Lion Cotton, sage. Working on front for length before I try to place design on back.

To knit: armwarmers (AntiCraft) for me, schoolbus scarf (Morehouse) for Mom for Xmas. Socks for me, in a self-striping acrylic (Red Heart? It's in my bag right now)

Just one at the moment-I'm working on making a doll that I got a pattern for on Craftster. If I'm good enough at it, I want to make more for Christmas gifts.

I've got some baby blankets that I really need to finish. I'm using the pattern from Stitch n b***h and Berroco Pure Merino Nuance in Denim for my friend's son. Another friend wants one in Ballerina and Merengue for her daughter. And a third one, but that girl hasn't picked colours yet.

Pics to come when I stop being lazy.

I started on my people cozy. I've worked on it for 2 days. I'm about 1/3 done.

People cozy just cracks me up every time I hear it. rofl

I finally uploaded (almost) everything to my Flickr account. Plus 2 pics of my stash. Don't drool. It's mostly acrylics found at Goodwill. Althought the top right of the cubes is mostly novelty yarns like Stars.

(Oh, and the bottom plastic box is a few years of taxes. Not useful for knitting at all. whee )

I just finished my long winter skirt, so that just leaves me with my kimono sweater on the needles, and the top-down hat that needs frogged.

Just yesterday i started work on a blanket for my girlfriend. I know i swore i wasn't gonna knit her anything more time consuming then a scarf, but we -are- a year and a half in (for a highschool relationship thats pretty good) and we're pretty solid, so i'm not too worried about cursing my way into it. And besides, i followed my own advice and am making something i know she'll love. It's gonna be a christmas present.

She called me in tears because one of the tassles on her blanket tore off. I know another blanket can't replace a baby blanket in sentimental terms, but it can replace what she uses to warm herself when that hole grows bigger...

I'm using lion brand homespun, in the color 'gothic'. Size 15 needles, stockinette.

I'm about 2/3 of the way done with this blanket.... and i left it at a friends house. redface So now....

I have a stash-reduction scarf on the needles. Last year for christmas, people wanted to know what kinds of yarn i wanted, and i told them "get me something that you like the look and feel of." I've been making scarves, hats, bags, etc. out of that yarn, mostly for the people who gave me that yarn. This is what i am doing now.

It's Bernat BlingBling, and it is horrid. it just looks gross to me, but my friend seemed to like it enough to buy it so she's getting it for christmas. xp

Also, i'm getting frustrated at the hat i've been trying to knit for my grandmother. She's going through chemotherapy, and so i wanted to knit her some soft hats. Well, i found patterns, my daddy bought me the yarn, but.... the one i have the right gauge/needles for is a multicolored hat. I hate color changes. So it's gonna end up going to my sister, methinks.
