[Awoken Queen]

Ari sipped the hot coffee and looked to Soren, she nodded slightly.
"I slept fine.. probably could have slept longer." She shrugged her shoulders and noticed his shy demenor.
"Uh.. you okay? I can move or something.. ?" She asked, setting her coffee cup down.  

[Kiba the Wild Beast]

"N-no, it's fine. You c-can stay." Soren managed to say, the top of his ears starting to get a little red now too as he twirled his coffee mug around a couple times before finishing the last of it.
He was just about to go get more when the mess hall door swung wide open and Erik stomped in loudly.
"Good morning everyone!" He hollered ever so cheerfully. Rikard, not far behind, trailed in after Erik. "I can't believe you woke me up this early." Rikard complained to his captain, still drowsy even though he got the most sleep out of all of them.
Erik quickly grabbed some coffee and sat down on the right next to Soren
"So how's it going? What have you guys been up too?" Erik asked, smiling.

Ari smiled slightly and greeted the others before sipping her coffee again. She could see that sly smirk on Rikards face, ready to tease Soren. People continued to trickle in, all hungry and after their breakfast.  

[Kiba the Wild Beast]

There was a glint in Rikard's eye when he saw Soren and Ari sitting together, and was about to start up his teasing as usual but he quickly changed his mind as he noticed more people were arriving. Rikard turned and was fast to jump first in line for the food.
Erik took a swig of his coffee, setting it down with a clunk. "So, how did everyone sleep?" He asked them, smiling. Soren was staring at his empty coffee cup. "Alright, I guess." He lied, rubbing a hand over the stitched up cut on his arm that was still healing.
Erik was about to call Soren out on his little lie when Rikard finally returned, masterfully balancing two trays of nice hot food for everyone and another round of coffee. After setting the trays down on the table he placed both a mug of coffee and a bowl of food in front of Arianna. "For you, m'lady." Rikard said with a wide grin, trying to be charming.

Ari smiled kindly to Rikard
"Why thank you." She watched the three men infront of her chat amongst themselves while she dug into breakfast. She took note of these three men. There was their Captain Erik. Very strong, definitely the leader type; always putting on a brave happy face for his team and others. Then Rikard, the strong, teasing one, he acts more childish than you think but deep down he only really teases and pokes fun at someone because they care. Then Soren, he was the quietest of them, very shy once you get him alone; scratch that even with people around. But it was kind of adorable.
She smiled as she ate.

The three men, side by side, all suddenly smiled as Erik picked up his coffee mug and stood, putting one leg up on his seat. He raised his mug a bit and starting to sing.

"We drink to our youth"
"to the days come and gone," Rikard and Soren then joined in.
"for the age of oppression is now nearly done"
"We’ll drive out the titans from this land that we own"
"With our blood and our steel we’ll take back our home"

"All hail to the scouts! You are our saviours!"
"In your great honor we drink and we sing."
"We're the Swift Mounted Brigade, and we fight all our lives."
"And when Valhalla beckons, every one of us dies"
"But this land is ours and we'll see it wiped clean"
"of the scourge that has sullied our hopes and our dreams."

Several people scoffed at the three, their words barely audible, but you could almost make out 'cocky bastards' from some of them.

"All hail to the scouts! You are our saviours!"

Ari smiled as she ate, watching these men sing and take pride in a job that wasnt cut out for most. It takes alot to be willing like they are, and most who opposed them were still scared of this. scared of what they have to face everyday.

Erik bowed as the song came to an end. "Thank you, no encores please!" He said boldly as he sat back down.
"Nice touch." Rikard snickered, while Soren stifled a light chuckle.
"Thanks, I thought so too." Erik smirked, glancing at the people giving them dirty looks. It was true that they were only putting on they're brave act, they were scared just like everyone else, but they were indeed proud and nothing could ever shake their resolve.

Ari smiled before her attention was drawn to Kara, running up to the table with haste, probably with news on the infurmaries latest additions from yesterday.
"Arianna! Bed 3, his leg is broken but it's like hes lost his mind.. he's going crazy in there after I told him the status of his team.. Bed 8, 1, 5 have all lost alot of blood.. their internal injuries aren't healing up well. Bed 11, the one who lost his arm won't let us change his bandages.. "
Ari looked to Kara, her hands shaking lightly, she was still quite new to this job.
"Restrain Bed 3 and sedate him, Ruvik will help you. Keep beds 8, 1, 5 on the antibiotics and start tell Scyler to start some internal patch work on them.. Bed 11, give him a second moraphine shot and tell him that if we don't change the bandages he'll die from infection. if he still says no, change them anyway."
She waved her hand lightly, sending Kara off running back to the Infurmary with her orders. She sipped her coffee.  

[Kiba the Wild Beast]

Rikard's eyes got wide, his jaw nearly hitting the floor from Arianna's calm demeanor and ability to give out orders without hesitation.
Soren raised an eyebrow, his way of showing he was also impressed. Erik just smiled.
"Wow, there's no doubt in my mind why you're the captain of the best medical squad in the scouts." Erik nodded, taking a sip of his coffee as well.

Arianna looked to the men infront of her before nodding slightly
"The only Medic Squad in the scouting regiment you mean.." She took the last drink from her coffee.
"By the standard size of the scouting legion we should have three times the size of our small medical squad.. but considering the scouting regiment is already on a low funding the medical squad is over looked. I am the captain because I already had some medical skill.. they're arent enough of us though.. but I would never ask these soldiers to shoulder more weight then they already have. Being a Scout Medic is no easy feat.."

Erik suddenly looked all flustered for a brief moment, before he coughed and cleared his throat. "Y-yes, of course. Well, there should be more medics like you." He said, trying to remain dignified despite Rikard snickering again at Erik's blunder.

Ari noticed Eriks slightly flustered words and bit back a small laugh. Breakfast was soon called to an end, those signed to kitchen clean up were left to clean. Arianna stood up.
"Well it was lovely eating with you three, you're quite the center of entertainment it seems. Perhaps i'll see you guys later."
She gave a slight wave before walking off to the infirmary.

All three of them waved goodbye to Arianna as she left, all smiling except Soren, who was still blushing.
"A medic's job is never done, while the rest of us have the luxury of waiting." Erik sighed, pulling out an envelope from the inside pocket of his jacket. Soren glanced over at it and Rikard raised his eyebrows in curiosity as Erik opened it. "Don't get too excited, they're just stand-by orders. Nothing specific at all in it, which is what bothers me." Erik said, tossing the letter on the table and crossing his arms.
Soren picked up the letter and went over it, his eyes narrowing as he read.
"You're right, it doesn't make much sense. What's the point of it?" Soren remarked, not taking his eyes off the orders.
"My best guess is there's something big in the process of being planned. But then why send letters stating for the squad to be on stand-by for future orders?" Erik frowned as he thought, rubbing his chin.

Arianna entered the infirmary which was just as chaotic as she thought it would be. Though breakfast with guys wasn't bad, it was actually very pleasurable. She made her rounds to the wounded, fixing broken stitches, changing bloodied wraps, and comforting these broken soldiers. Though she was hoping to get some training in.
