Leona noticed tensions were getting high. Everyone seemed angry. She didn't like where things we going. So she changed into her wolf form, wagged her tail and walked around happily. She could tell this new wolf was no danger, but she didn't want to risk anyone getting hurt. "Hey let's all calm down a bit ok?" Leona looked at Ace and Rune trying to get them to become more calm. Her heart was racing though. Sure she was scared, but being scared gets you nothing. Leona layed on the floor with her belly up showing she wasn't a threat and rolled around like a pup.

Ace glanced to Leona, attempting to relieve tensions. The male wasn't a danger and if he were he was out numbered. Ace turned away and stalked back into the container, taking a corner spot in silence.

Fenrir appreciated the attempt of Leona to relieve the tension, and sighed in relief when things cool down. "Like I said before I am not looking for a fight just being friendly. Also there is a vigilante group in the area so I suggest we move unless you want a battle."

Rune had actually calmed down now, growing more comfortable with the stranger all of a sudden.
"Vigilantes, like dog catchers?" Rune asked Fenrir, one of his ears twitching in concern. He was use to dealing with them, in fact, the city hadn't been able to hire a dog catcher for awhile now. But, that didn't mean there weren't any humans willing to do the job regardless of any pay.
He then found himself worrying, not wanting to leave his home, the place he grew up and had known virtually all his life.

"Ummm I've never been in a fight....." Leona was nervous. She didn't want to fight. She didnt even know how. She got up and changed to her human form. "I think I better go," she said to all of them. If she had just stayed by her tree and slept, none of this would be happening right now.

Ace eyed the male, taking in the news. She was in her human form and stood up.
"Let them come, I'll fight em.."
Her stomach growled louder and she headed for the door.

Turning his attention to Rune Fenrir made eye contact for a sec then lowered it to show respect. "Those Vigilantes are normal humans dressed up as navy seals, they used to get their supplies from an old military base that was abandon." Then hearing the peaceful wolf and what she said he shook his head. "Miss one thing I learned is this the strength of a wolf is his pack, the strength of the pack is the members in it. If you want to leave it is your choice but the ones who hunt us are merciless."

When Ace went for the door the young male took a chance and blocked her way with his arm. "Please Miss like you I thought I could fight them alone and I lost something for my arrogance." He then took out a picture and showed it to her revealing a family in front of a house. "That used to be my family the Vigilantes burned the house to the ground along with everyone except me, since then I kept quiet and trying to help those I can. I honor your courage but facing them alone is not the answer."

Rune quickly looked away, not use to all the friendly behavior.
"Basically hunters with high powered rifles that know how to use them." Rune said as he began shaking again. It wasn't out of fear rather than anger this time.
Fenrir's description of these people killing his family and burning his home down was exactly how they killed his mom.

Leona's eyes widened with fear as she heard Fenrir's story. "I shouldn't have gotten mixed up in all of this. It's all my fault...." she thought to herself, "Now the same thing will happen here." She pushed past Fenrir and ran. She couldn't stay there any longer. Her heart was pounding as she crossed the stream and ran into the woods. It had gotten dark out while she was with the other wolves. It was hard to see in her human form. She changed to her wolf form when she saw two humans setting up a trap by her tree.
"This should catch it," one of the men said as they wiped their brow of sweat. They both walked away.
Luckily Leona's fur was dark enough to hide her. She waited until they were out of sight and hearing range. Then she ran to the outskirts of the city......

Ace eyed Fenrir with a heated gaze for stopping her but it burned her heart to know what they had done to him.
"But we aren't a pack." She stated
"Were a bunch of misfits, gathered under simple coincidence.." She looked off in the way Leona had went, disappearing in the dark. She looked back to Fenrir. "But if your in anyway concerned I would stay with the injured one if I were you.." She moved passed Fenrir and in a blink of an eye stood in her wolf form, snow white fur that walked like a neon sign in this dark..
"I've got some hunting to do.." Ace disappeared off into the trees, back to the river, howling out loud into the night.

The two men who had drawn the trap listened to the howl echo, following it now as they drew their guns close, stalking in the night.

Rune couldn't take it anymore, he didn't wanna be here if this place was going to turn into a battleground. He use to have a quiet life, now suddenly three other wolves stumble upon his home. Not only that, they also brought trouble along with them. Rune could never return here unless he wanted to fall prey to one of the traps.
He slipped past Fenrir and started to slowly make his way towards the city. Rune reverted to his human form, figuring he could blend in and hide better from any hunters.

Ace stalked low in the tree line but stayed near the river. Following the smell of these hunters.The darkness had fallen but her snow white fur held a small glow when even the lowest light touched it. She vowed she would never turn tail and run ever again.. and she wasn't going to.

Leona heard Ace's howl from afar. She wanted to go and help, but she didn't know what to do. She looked back at the town that was her home for a few months and with a heavy heart, turned around and ran, following the tracks of the railroad.

Erika walks the streets of the town alone, huddled up in what looks to be a cozy sweater and leggings, little black mittens on her hands to avoid frigid temperatures on her hands. She was alone and bored of the same old town life, the same people and same activities day in and day out; she wanted excitement and a new life, perhaps a relaxing one. Bit by bit she made her way down the street and to a railyard where a faint scent of wolves lingered in the air, making Erika stop and peek out from her scarf* "Hmm..It's quiet and empty here... but yet this scent isn't old." *Immediately Erika's curiousity and excitement grew, shifting into her wolf form easily but staying back where the scent was*

Rune stopped in his tracks, struggling with the decision. Everything in his mind screamed to run for safety, but something else deep down inside made him want to stay and fight. It was his territory after all, what kind of wolf would he be if he refused to fight for it. Surviving was pointless unless you had something to live for, and he had nothing to else to lose.
He turned back and starting running the best he could, ignoring the pain in every step he took.
