Darks_sister Maryohki Being serious, Black Cat, Azumanga, and Host Club are fxxing awesome. Oh, and what didn't you like about Loveless? [/curious] They are! But too bad I've been short on money lately...otherwise I'd try to catch up with those series. gonk Well lets see here, the whole '*****' thing was a little uncomfortable to read and a lot of the characters straight out bugged me. But yet, I got three volumes of it before I gave them away to a friend of mine. I guess maybe I kinda like it a little after all... sweatdrop
yeah, short on money = suck. I've been meaning to buy Kyo Kara Maoh season 2 volum 5 for about a month now, but money and shiny things like Princess Tutu are keeping me from doing so! gonk
I agree that the ***** thing is a bit weird, but I pretend Ritsuka is older, and try to focus on the Septimal Moon thing.
As for Hellsing, I think the art is pretty cool, but I can see why people wouldn't like it. My biggest problem with Hellsing is that I don't like most of the characters. Alucard pisses me off and Integra is a b***h. I love Seras Victoria, Walter, and Schrodinger, but that's about it. Seras and Schro make me love Hellsing, though =3. |

There's so much manga I want to buy. But Japanese manga and Asuka magazine have been tying up my money lately. (I think after I get my order of manga, I'm going to start focusing on some other English-released titles like Ouran and +Anima.) BTW; Is Kyo Kara Maoh any good? I been reading(Sorta) it in Asuka and it looks rather cute. Eh, I tried that too. But it didn't work for me because I wasn't very "in" with the story. I think the only things I liked about loveless was one of the characters reminded me of one of my friends and that I thought Ritsuka was adorable. (I have this thing for little boy characters. ...No I'm not a ***** in the making. IRL I have actually have a thing for older guys. xD) The things that turned me off about the art in Hellsing was the weird noses and the gritty-ness of the way it was drawn. I also didn't like the gallons of blood being spilt every couple of pages. (I'm not squeamish, I just don't like lots of blood. I find it distracting.) Other than that, I actually thought it was enjoyable and I might actually continue buying it because it's one of the few manga my younger brother actually enjoys reading. (Other than DNAngel, Azumanga Daioh and the Disgaea manga.) |

Darks_sister Maryohki I have nothing important to say besides FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KYO KARA MAOH IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING ANIME EVER GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW. But I don't really like to watch anime. The Anime of anything is usually really bad compared to it's manga counterpart and I don't like to spend 20$+ on something that I wouldn't like. If anything, I'll probably just wait until some company licenses the manga. (Or learn more Japanese and buy the raw versions.)
...the anime is soooooo worth it, though ;__; |
