The last few days, since Sunday evening really, have been hectic for me! Trying to catch up now. This crazy new rule on DC scares me! I think I have it figured out, but wanted to swing it by everyone. I have a thread in the Chatterbox where people come through posting their dragons, that I then post on the first page (it's like the Incubator, only less... of a lot of things). So, I've decided I won't update based on scrolls like we do here (hadn't been doing, but was in consideration), won't post bred eggs that couldn't be kept (currently do that), and will add a note to the first page about people posting grants me permission to post theirs on the first page (just to make sure i'm covered). I think that covers everything, but wanted to swing it by people. I don't want my scroll burned! People familiar with my thread, am I missing anything? Willa, being that I'm sure you've considered this more than I have (I just found out about this) - thoughts on any other fun syntax I should add to make sure I'm covered?
Oh, and my surrogates are a friend that isn't on Gaia (as of yet), and I have her permission to post them (or they'd never survive!). Just in case you're worried Willa.

Think you've considered all the angles, Alda. You can look at the simple statement (written in small bold red lettering) under the Incubator post title. It covers the permission thing.
And thanks about info on your surrogate egg. I wasn't too concerned as I figured you would remove it if you needed to. I removed all my surrogates, even though I hated doing it knowing that some of my bred abandons have been killed deliberately or neglectfully. I've got way too many dragons that I've worked hard to collect and raise to chance having my scroll burned over something like this.

Exactly! I post old scrolls too, I figure that's okay, they posted them, I'm not posting their eggs. Now that I've actually reviewed the agreement, I think my thread (now removed of all abandons including 3 eggs that were in desperate need crying ) is safe.

Since they've given us their scrolls, that's implied consent to continue to watch over their eggs - present and future. I'll continue to update everyone's scrolls (both active and inactive) until I receive notice from the person specifically to stop doing so.
Geez, this seems to be getting really legalistic for a game, doesn't it? rolleyes

There's now QUITE a large waiting list of Cerberal haters for Cerberal's eggies so that we can breed Cerberal and young and spread Cerberal's descendants all over dragcave.
