Behind the bar, rattling noise could be heard and muttering. "Where is it? I am sure there should be some here. Did Sosol run out? Or maybe he has been hiding it!"
Celine was halfway into the alcohol cabinet under the counter and it was obvious that she was not finding what she was looking for.

Two figures found their way into the main room. One, a familiar face with an unusable arm and cane, strolled down from his room upstairs, the other was someone new to the inn, but he'd heard much about it. This second man appeared much older than the first, sporting graying hair and beard. As the clockwork man came down stairs, he actually didn't notice the new guest to the inn, an unfortunate side effect of the worsening condition of his inner workings. However he did notice voice from behind the bar that he was pleased to hear.
Stepping up to the bar, Kal could see the hind side of Celine sticking out from the alcohol cabinet. He smiled mischievously to himself, as he decided to tap her lightly on the back with his cane. Meanwhile, at the door, the older human male strolled in clad in his long coat with fur trim. Oddly enough, the only thing he carried was a leather bound book, that appeared to be attached to him by a chain around his person.

All to her search, the nurse did not hear footsteps so the poke came as a startle which had for effect to send her head against the wooden ceiling of the cabinet. A curse and she appeared patting her head and blinked.
"You startled me!!" she whined yet she was soon around his neck and giving him a tight hug. "Hello you." she smiled seeming to forget for a moment her search and the bump on her head. "How are you doing?" she asked.
A movement on the other side of the counter had her turn her head. "Good evening." she waved happily at the new comer. "Nice coat! What fur is it?" she asked him.

"Oh," Kal chuckled as she hugged him. He rubbed the top of her head with his good hand. "I hope that didn't hurt too much." he said, "I'm sorry."
As Dehn strode further inside, he stroked one of his fur lapels. "Greetings," he said, "I'm afraid they're not from a creature of this region, though, it is somewhat similar to fox fur." Hearing the response to Celine, Kal now noticed the new guest. "Hello there, sir. A pleasure to meet you." the clockwork man said.
"Likewise," Dehn said, "Would either of you know whether any rooms are available in this establishment?" Though he asked the question, Dehn already knew the answer, and only did so for appearance's sake.

Celine grinned at Kal. "It hurt a lot! You will have to make it up to me!" The last sentence was accompanied with a wink.
She turned back to Dehn.
"Awesome! I love the color. I am Celine and yes we have rooms available. Let me seee..." she added as she looking into the key box. "Here!" She took a key and handed it to him.
"The only rule here is no fighting! Respect that and you are more than welcome to stay, Mister...?" she waited for him to introduce himself.

The man thanked the young woman as he took the key from her. "Dehn," he answered curtly before departing with a nod, heading upstairs. Kal watched after him, figuring the man must be tired after whatever journey he'd come off of. Odd that he hadn't asked about payment as Kal had in the beginning, though.
After a brief moment the clockwork man turned back towards his female companion. "I suppose I will. Perhaps, a drink back in one of our rooms? I could finally show you that book, or you could tell me more of your adventures in Africa? What were you looking for anyway, Celine?"

Celine waved at the man with a puzzled gaze but still smiling. "Odd." she stated once he was gone. Then she turned to Kal and leaned towards him. "I was looking for Captain..." she remembered that he had served her whiskey and coke that one time. "Captain Morgan is a spiced rum." she grinned with a chuckle then bit her lips as she closed the cabinet with her foot. "I think a drink in your room with that book of yours would be quiet entertaining." Then she froze and looked at her watch. "Oh noooooooo not again." she sighed. "I have to go." she grunted unhappily. She pecked his cheek. "Rain check on that!" she called after her as she stormed out of the room with a wave and wink for the man. He was such a sweetheart, she really wished to spend more time with him. Damned odd job with odd working hours.

A large hand opened the door to the inn. Baskets being set inside before the giantess slowly entered the inn. She sighed, pushing a lock of crimson from her face. Emerald eyes looked this way and that as she stood, being wary of the rafters. A slow stern smile on her face, "Ah- hello, Mapmaker."

The man nearly spit up his coffee at the sight of her entering. Just when he though he'd gotten used to her size, housing reminded him of it once more. He placed his cup down, gulping down the tea he hadn't spit up with a wince as he nodded to the giantess with a smile.
"...And hello to you, Ms. Smith! What brings you... inside?"

He still reacted with something like fear. She did not care for it- but it failed sto show. She gestured at the baskets, "I share my finds and kills with the inn. I was hoping to find the innkeeper to speak with."

The Innkeeper in question was in the kitchen, preparing eggs for a snack. Hearing that he was needed, he called out "In a minute!"
