[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"I get a theme song?!" Max asked, stars in her eyes at the thought. "For serious? Wow! An' here I thought I just suit up an' go! Theme song, theme song...hm. Do I want somethin' badass, or something that'll pump me up?"

Violet began opening cans, dumping their contents into the crock pot with a grin. Food for her, sure...but for everyone else, too. She didn't really get to cook for more people than herself...but chili was easy, and great for fall.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Both! I always like KMFDM when I'm getting ready for a fight, or Juno Reactor." smiled Remy. "Gets you ready for some righteous a**-kicking."

Covered in vegetable matter, dirt and scrapes Honey opened the door. Carrying her guitar, the strap snapped, her hair plastered to the side of her head by the remnants of a tomato- the pink haired minstral hadn't clearly not had a great day. She looked up and swore something less than ladylike. Great an audience. Wonderful. Today just get better. A broad smile crossed her lips, her jaw set and she walked up the stairs, her belt of bells jingling all the way. She went to her room, closed the door, locked it and turned on her music.

Kyou blinked... well that had been interesting. Shuffling slightly, Kyou yawned and settled back into watching. What interesting people. Who was Zulma? What is an A-Team? Did this Phoenix live here too? So many questions.

Max gave it a surprisingly long bout of deep thought before whipping out her phone and playing a song. "Maybe this one?"

A sizzle could be heard from the kitchen, Violet doing her best to brown some meat in a skillet. Water was boiling in a pot nearby for herself; mac and cheese now...chili tomorrow night.

Remy gave thumbs-up with a nod. "Sounds like something from a sweet spy action movie."

He then sniffed the air. "Say, that smells nice..."

Max beamed. A spy action movie, huh...? Were she not to dress so colorfully, she could pull off a spy. She was small enough, sneaky, able to get lots of information. It was a great mental image, one interrupted by Remy's statement.

"What smells nice...?" Max asked, taking a whiff at the air. "Oh~...I smell...izzat chili?"

Violet drained the meat, dumping it into the cooker and giving it a long stir. She hummed in thought, raiding the spice rack for cumin, garlic, chili powder...she still needed the sweetness. Brown sugar...where was it?

Remy nodded, tossing his head to the kitchen. "Investigate?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Sure!" Max strolled for the kitchen, knowing Remy was close at hand.

Violet was putting away the spices and sugar, putting a lid on things after a quick stir and adding shell pasta to the boiling water.

"Viiiiolet? Whatcha dooooin'?"  

[Azana Brown]

Violet jumped a little, looking to Remy and smiling. "D-dinner," she answered, getting back to stirring the cheese sauce while the pasta cooked.

"But why're ya makin' mac when ya got chili cookin'?" Max asked, lifting the lid and taking a whiff. "Smells good!"

"...chili takes time," she answered, rubbing an arm. "I...I haven't eaten...in a day or two...so, mac."

"Whaaaat. How come, Vi?" asked Remy, glancing over from the chili pot. "Artistic fervor gone wild?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Y-you could say that..." Violet answered, watching the pasta boil. "I've been drawing a lot...sometimes, I can't stop."

"Ya mean like James, when he gets all invent-y?" Max asked, bouncing a little.

"...I think he has more fun than I do."  

[Raigon The Ice Titan]

Shadow smiled softly as he sniffed. "Indeed something does smell good and what or who did the abducting and is it a matter that i am going to have to take care of?" Shadows eyes in a instant went from a soft glowing white to a demonic red that looked like moltent lava.

"Ahhh...Max, remember when I was all flippin' about about the thing? You know?" asked Remy, frowning slightly. "That. Not a fun drive sometime."

"Some demon woman, we have it handled, no need to fuss." reassured Gren.

"I-I'm safe now...!" Violet added from the kitchen, hand sticking out from the door to wave, the copper giving a dull reflection in the light.

"The thi-- oh..." Max frowned. "B-but...ya think she's drawin' stuff from 'er memory, too...? Just a buncha robe-wearin' weirdos over and over?"

Violet returned her attention to dinner, straining the pasta. "No," she said quietly, stirring the sauce in with the drained pasta. "It's not like that..I haven't drawn her in some time..."
