Kyou scratched at the messy bun atop salt and pepper head. From way up here in the rafter Kyou served no real threat. Returning the wave, perching out in the open, Kyou smiled, "Sounds very interesting."

"I used one of the really big pots," Violet answered, "but...if it's for everybody, we should probably start another, just in case." Surprisingly, she didn't seem quite as tired now. Maybe it was because she had a reason to stay awake, and a good, pleasant one.

"It's up to you," she answered. "It might be better if you do...have two choices..." She knew that the lid was about the only thing keeping the aroma from wafting to the rest of the Inn. Good thing, too...it sounded like there were a lot of people resting.

Kyou wondered if they would mind an observer. Certainly anything involving cheese was worth seeing how it was made. But the smaller woman seemed so jumpy, Kyou would have to hope Gren was cooking. Kyou scratched absently at the bandaged arm and suddenly became very itchy allover. Kyou began to scratch instead.

Kyou was now rubbing broad back against a support beam, "S'up? I have heard that before. Slang for what is up... or what is going on? I am suddenly very itchy. Also staying out of the way. I am glad to see you all back. Mr. Gren was very worried and it was very quiet. I believe Mr. Degas was worried but he has not ventured out much." Kyou adjusted a few bandages, "I have many new questions on technology but I will try yours on you. S'up?"

Violet giggled lightly, digging around for more cans of tomatoes and beans. "Your mom made chili, too..." That was comforting; there were days where she wondered if she'd have to explain every part of a modern family life to these people.
Goodness, am I turning into her already...? She thought, bringing out an apron full of cans. They were easier to carry that way, and apparently she looked reasonably cute in an apron.

Kyou continued to scratch, "I believe the mushi is trying to reawake. The salve Mr. Marouse used to subdue it has caused the outer growth to recede and I have been having a very hard time breathing. But for now the immediate issue is itchiness and a craving for blood. I do not like this new craving, but there is always cheese to curb it. Do you like cheese?"
