[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Azana Brown]

"...and I just thought it was a pretty tattoo," Violet frowned, though it didn't last. "I'm glad, though...being bound isn't fun..."

"Depends on who you ask, but that's entirely beside the point," Azana said, serving herself a cola. She'd spike the next one, after she had some food in her.

"Of course, right now!" Stella smiled. "Why would I delay for my favorite demon, hm?" She sat down, immediately chanting with both wands at the ready. The second lock popped, then the third; she was doing it slowly, not wanting the power rush to overwhelm the guy. After all, he'd been running on less than full for a while now.

Kyou lost this time unable to not look to see what was going on. Kiran wheezed, sitting forward in his chair before promptly heading outside.

"Well, it is pretty..." he agreed. closing his eyes and sighing, letting the energy flow. As it did, it felt like...there was a clearing, in his mind, fog lifting.

Gren smiled, leaning back.This, this felt good. He felt good about the day, for the first time in a while.

Four and five, Stella unlocked the seal steadily. Like she would have a seal on him that was hideous. He didn't deserve that...though she couldn't help but wonder what Malachai would be like once he was fully unsealed.

Violet watched with interest, taking in the design and watching it shift as it unraveled.

Azana sipped her cola, sitting at the bar and mulling things over. She had been hoping to keep busy...but she'd have to talk about it all at some point. As much as she didn't want to...perhaps it would have been better still buried.  

[Gren_Eckener]

His tail flicked. "I...I can remember...wait...hey, yeah! That's...yes!" he grinned. "That'll make this so much easier!"

"What?"

"I just remembered...I can't be exorcised! Holy symbols don't hurt me!" he beamed. "I can meet the nun!"  

[Azana Brown]

"Wow, they did more of a number to you than I thought," Stella blinked, as seal six popped. Seven slipped away...though she found it funny that now they couldn't threaten exorcism, not that he seemed to need it. Incubi were the sort where they could be nice and cordial and still get their needs met.

"...nun...?" Violet blinked in confusion. "Who...?"

"Don't worry; you'll meet her soon," Azana answered quickly, not wanting people to get into the discussion of Marilyn or of Kasdeya at the moment.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I...If I had to guess, when it sealed my magic, it sealed my knowledge of how to use it as well..." he smiled with a sheepish chuckle. "I guess this means I'm not gonna get tricked into eating weird stuff anymore! But...I still don't understand a lot of human stuff, so...I think I'll mess up a lot still, probably."

"That's all right...you can't be expected to know everything all at once." smiled Gren. "What Az said on that, m'afraid. We'll get into it later.."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou hovered from above, watching with curiosity. How interesting! Was this more magic? Kyou had seen the blond before with the pink haired girl. Kyou was delighted but dared not say anything. Malachai seemed to be growing happier! Good!  

[Azana Brown]

"There's plenty of a chance to learn...and hey, I think James is scheduled to pick up Tyler's acquisitions from his excursion, so you'll have a crop of soulfruit, too." Stella smiled as eight and nine slowly unraveled. After the tenth, she'd have to remove the sealing mechanism itself...and that would be the hardest part.

Violet looked up, intrigued by the hovering figure. "Malachai is free," she smiled as she explained.

Azana grinned a little. No matter the mood...Tech was always a reason to smile.

He watched as the final circle faded, eyes gentle, peaceful, but very happy. "That feels...much, much better." he grinned, rubbing his arm.

Gren smiled. "What now?"

"Ah...Stella, are we done? Or do you want to rest a little?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou was overjoyed to see the timid girl held no fear over the scarring or the obsidian skin. A true smile was barely visible through the scars, but Kyou's eyes curved in joy, "I am very happy to hear this for friend Malachai."  

[Azana Brown]

"I'm not done yet," Stella said, a deep breath of focus. "If we don't remove the sealing mechanism, a clever mage could lock you back up. I'm not going to let that happen." Her chant changed tempo and tone, the ink-like marks beginning to evaporate.

Violet watched, mouth slightly open in absorbed interest. "Wow..."

Tyler walked downstairs, toting bottles and bottles of slightly clouded water and setting them on a table.

"Hey...is that it?" Azana asked, peeking in the walls of the bottle.

"Yeah...funny stuff," Tyler answered. "Nothing like a fog with a mind of its own."

He shifted in his seat, excited to watch the mark fade. "Thank you! I'm happy too, Kyou!" he said, tail flicking in delight.

Gren glanced back, waving with a surprised smile. "Ty! When'd you get back?" he grinned, standing and walking over. "That swamp must've been some ways away!"

Kyou watched it disappear like smoke. Looking around... where had it gone? What a fascinating thing to watch! Ah and a person Kyou did not know and had certainly not seen. Tyler? What were those bottles full of? Mr. Gren seemed happy. Good. The certainly didn't look like mushi. Kyou straddled the rafter watching the people. It was much better up above.

"Aaaaand, all gone!" The last wisp vanished before she slipped her wands into an armband, leaving her hair down as everyone seemed to prefer. "One fully-armed incubus, ready to go."

Tyler smiled at the greeting, though the mention of the supposed distance made it fade a little. "I got back a couple days ago," he answered, "and you know me...nowhere is too far." He counted all of them up, producing one more from his bag. That was all of it...in separate bottles. They'd have to be careful with it; he didn't know if the fog's effects would carry with this volume. Better safe than sorry.

"...for future reference, please allow me to perform any upgrades or tweaking on your transporter device."

Violet smiled, hugging Malachai happily. "You're not cursed, either!"
