[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Azana Brown]

Stella looked over, noticing the staring Kyou. "Erm....can I help you...?" She asked, tilting her head as well.

"It was a very pleasant trip," Tyler said vaguely with a nod. "I learned a lot about our fair innkeeper, and vice versa. Not much to do out there besides talk..."

"A lot of people like fake cheese," Violet answered him. "They wouldn't make it, otherwise..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I guess so...but I like real cheese too! I wonder if there's some kind of cheese fight going on." laughed Malachai, getting down the crackers and cheese spread packet, one for himself, one for Violet. "Humans eat the coolest food! Sometime, I want to go to a restaurant!"

Gren smiled a bit, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I see you're in one piece...how's Zulma? She's been hiding?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

A glimmer, a flicker of movement easily mistaken for misplaced air. Ah. There it was. Kyou very slowly reached out with bandaged hand and would seem to pluck something from near Stella's left ear. Kyou smiled and seemed to inspect what had been found. What an interesting mushi, it struggled not at all, seeming content to wrap around the bandages. "The residents and visitors of this inn naturally attract the most interesting mushi." Kyou looked up to Stella, "I am Senpai Kyou."  

[Azana Brown]

"I'm sure you can get someone to treat you..." Violet assured him, taking one for her own. "There are all sorts of things out there..."

"Well, I'm not sure how well she took the three month skip," Tyler admitted, "but she seemed to really enjoy the trip. The fog was generally cooperative...with the slight exception of the evening, but nothing really dangerous."

"I'm Stella," she answered Kyou. "It's nice to meet you...I'd ask about mushi, but I get the feeling the explanation would take a while. I'll just assume you swept one off my ear, and leave it at that for now. Have you been here long?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"What's your favourite kind?" he asked, spreading on his cheese happily.

"It must have been pretty relaxing..." he hummed, wistful at the thought. "Like a vacation!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"I have been a resident of the inn since May of this year," Kyou answered with a small nod. Attention on the mushi as it tugged at the bandages. To those who cannot see it would appear the bandages were loosening on their own- small tears in the material. "As for mushi I would be happy to tell you anything you wish to know but yes it would take some time. Please tell me, Miss Stella, are you a healer or a shaman? Or are you as Ms Azana... I believe the loud pink haired girl calls you 'wizards'."  

[Azana Brown]

"Very," he said, grinning as he remembered it. "The scenery on the way there was fantastic, and the accommodations were a lot better than I had figured. Comfy little shack on the outskirts, nearby waterfall, an actual bed...aside from the semi-sentient, blanket-thick fog, I would go there even without a mission."

Stella chuckled lightly, smiling at the mention of both Honey and Azana. "I've spent the vast majority of my life studying various forms of magic, yes," she answered at last, "almost to the point of knowing little else that's unrelated. I can only cook with recipes because I have to follow them in making potions. My writing skills were developed with designing incantations. It's...a strange education, but it's working for me."

"My favorite kind...?" Violet asked, humming in thought. "I...I've really only tried what my family had..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Well, what's that like, then? Like the chili?" asked Mal, nibbling his cracker. "I've never had chili, so that's new for me."

"...Maybe I oughta head out there myself, sometime." Gren smiled at the thought. "It sounds like a good place for soul searching."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou sat on the floor, crossing long legs and pondering. "It is... a very new sight. Yes there has been plenty around here to see from above and about- however it's always a wonder. Magic is so very different. I have a few spells myself but nothing like what you did. I have never seen what you did for friend Malachai before. Do those only work on demons or can they be used on any form? Are they difficult to learn and make? You say you learned how to do your magic from designing the ... incantations. What is that?" Kyou paused, paled and looked at the arm as the beautiful little creature proved to have teeth. The bandage began to soak with black.

Kyou's mismatched brows furrowed, "Ah.. seems you are a hunter aren't you? What bad luck for you to be so pretty." A small light of flame and a squealing only Kyou could hear, Kyou adjusted the bandaged to catch the slowly burning blood. Leaning against the couch, Kyou blinked... that was fast... was the floor sinking? Looking back to Stella, green eyes smiling, "Ah yes.. a forgive me I tend to ramble when I am excited."  

[Azana Brown]

"Chili, basic American stuff, sometimes Mexican or Italian," Violet replied, eating a cracker and leaning on the counter. "They weren't very adventurous...and my diet before coming here kind of took a nose dive..."

"Zulma's pretty protective of the place," Tyler warned, "but since you're one of her best friends, I'd doubt she'd mind your company out there. I'd even drop you two off in Lardeyrol, once I get the damn thing fixed."

"Oh, you mean the seal...?" Stella said, glancing toward the kitchen where Malachai currently was. "Depending on the purpose, they can theoretically work on all sorts. The hardest part is making them from scratch, rather than using one that someone has already designed and written down." She paused, blinking in surprise as Kyou seemed to spontaneously bleed...and black, at that.

"It's alright...it seems to be a natural reaction to excitement around here," she answered, slightly concerned about Kyou even though she seemed to have things under control. "Incantations are the spoken parts of spells, whether they're True Names, words of power, or a string of commands designed to get something done. Any usually do, but they tend to work a bit better if they have a rhyme or cadence to follow, more like chanting than speaking. Are you sure you're okay...?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Mex-i-can." he repeated, not familiar with the word. "That one sounds fun! What is that like?"

"Where's Lardeyrol..?" he asked, pouring himself a water.  

[Raigon The Ice Titan]

Shadow comes down the stairs and looks around the room seeing everyone that was there he gave a greeting to everyone "How are you all doing this fine night." Shadow walked over to the bar and waited for the tender to come to him so that he could order himself something to drink.  

[Astra_Senpai]

As Stella spoke Kyou's pupils had dilated to empty pools of black and jaw had set. Other than that Kyou seemed well but certainly did not feel it. The wound was singed and sealed, nothing to worry about but changing the bandages. Looking up and away then back, Kyou nodded, "Sadly I have not encountered the mushi I removed from you. Had I been more cautious I would have looked to see if it had teeth. At the moment... I am certain your hair was not magenta or that the floor was sinking and yet- it is. Do not fret. It seems it is only creates hallucinations and not paralysis as the one I do know of." Kyou's fingertips had begun to dig into the floor, a crooked smile on the scarred mouth, "Your talent sounds fascinating. You say rhyming makes them more effective? Must they be spoken aloud? Or may you think ... them? Were I in a better condition, " Kyou flinched from something unseen- looking over broad shoulder as if to find it. Various eyes were beginning to appear in the walls. Wonderful and horrifying- Kyou then turned back to face Stella. "Were I in a better condition I would ask for a small demonstration if you were up to it. Nothing grand. Those sticks... wands? They look very nice... I doubt they are glowing but at least the color is nice. Perhaps later. When you wish to hear about mushi and I am not being watched by the walls." Kyou's eyes grew wide, looking at Shadow- and whispered, "Forgive me, Miss Stella, but did a very large green man walk into the room just now? I am not familiar with the form to assume anything but."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Just fine, just fine...things got set straight, now we're waiting for a few others to get home." smiled Gren, taking a place behind the bar. "What can I get for ya?"

Shadow looked at Gren and smiles widely his large canine showing when he smiled. "Is the stock of devils whiskey still around use to be in stock for when i came around." Shadow saw the way the the person stared at him and frowned slightly. Looking at Gren he said with a evil tone. "Why am i getting looked at strangly i take it that one does not know who i am." Shadows hair floated around him as if wind was whipen through it even though there wasnt any wind readjusting the katana at his side he sniffed and smelt blood. " Alright Gren what happened this time while i was resting."
