[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Remy set down his pot and peeked into the kitchen. "Enta?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her long tail flared into a brilliant poof of white gossamer, she hadn't heard him coming. She swallowed the juice in her glass, standing a bit deeper into the fridge, praying he stay over there- oh she should have waited a little longer. "No... just Tamriel."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Oh, hey Tam." he waved, grinning. "Nice look for ya, the fur stole. Doin' all right?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She smiled softly, fur stole, ears twitching, "Yes... I'm alright. Y-yourself?" She gripped the glass tightly, taking only a small step back from the fridge, not closing the door just yet.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yep! It's been a freakin' sweet coupla days!" he smiled, lingering in the doorway. "Where've you been?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She shook her head, long tail ruffling as she bit back the bitter taste of the words. Setting her jaw she couldn't keep her voice from cracking- tears welling as that sadness hit, "In my room... hiding." She sniffled, "The celebration last night seemed very high spirited."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"You...you okay? It was house-wide, you could have joined..." he frowned, stepping into the kitchen and coming over.  

[Astra_Senpai]

It would be easy to see she was dressed down substantially than ever seen before. The clothing hung on her, several sizes too big, the long glorious hair was barely past her jaw and the back of her neck looked raw. Very slowly she shook her head no, tears welling down her face as she turned to face him. Tall white ears flat against silken hair, long tail uncurling to sweep the floor and bowing her head, the glass shaking in scarred hands.

Remy gaped, brow slowly furrowing in concern. "...Tam...what happened..?!" he murmured, instinctively reaching up to pet her cheek.  

[Astra_Senpai]

She flinched, wincing from the movement of it and away from him, "I... I renounced my family. The suitor they chose... burned me for rejecting their decision." Deep blue eyes looked to him, more tears falling, she wore no makeup today, "I'm sorry.. I- I didn't want anyone to see."  

[Gren_Eckener]

He gave her the deepest look of sympathy. "Oh my god...that's terrible, I'm so sorry..." he breathed. "We...could we have helped..?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She shook her head no slowly, the burn beginning on her cheek seemed to extend cleanly to her neck- the heel of a palm and arch. "No one could have guessed it would happen." She wiped her eyes on her sleeve, "I.. I'm sorry this must put a damper on your good mood. Please I-" her voice crackled, tall ears coming up and forward, "I'm... I'm sorry I just couldn't stay in my room..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Hey, hey, no..." he reassured, stepping over. "I'm glad you came out...I missed you."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her eyes grew wide, "M-me? You missed me?" Her tail wrapped twice around her hips, the white fur ruffling here and there in her surprise. She'd been certain... she'd been certain she had been tagged with an amount of distaste by those she'd spent time with. She doubted even Malachai liked her. She'd... it was so strange wanting to be liked.  

[Gren_Eckener]

He nodded. "You had a way of brightening up the room...I hoped you hadn't just poofed." hummed Remy. "You were hiding out? Why?"
