[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

Kiran shrugged, he wasn't a mind reader and smiled. Fully engrossed in the quickest sketch he'd every done. It was a radiant lineart of Violet rolling up her sleeves, he was currently drawing an ornate black oval border around.

Honey rolled off the couch, landing on her stomach with an 'oof' and continued texting.

Kyou watched Tyler type, how fascinating, looking to Malachai for a brief moment, "It would not hurt if she is distraugh." And then full attention fell back on Tyler.  

[Azana Brown]

"You can do what you want," Azana smirked to him, heading off to put her bowl away.

Violet had both sleeves now rolled down, and she now worked on coaxing the hair tie out of the ponytail. "Would you like some tea, Kiran...?" She asked finally, chuckling lightly.

Tyler narrowed his eyes, looking at a certain line and altering a couple characters. "I think this could use a little tweaking..."

"Okay!" he nodded, romping up the stairs to bang on Tam's door. "Taaaaaam! Tam, let me iiiiin, I want to looooove yooooooooou!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Honey rolled around on the floor, texting and singing 'London Bridge'. When she came to a solid surface, she'd roll in another direction. She stopped and stared at JIM, then rolled out of its way.

Kyou perched back on the chair, "What is tweaking?"

His ears perked, "Th-that w-w-would b-be l-lov-vel-ly." He yawned and continued drawing, trying the shading with a little success.

A sniffle, her door opened slowly to allow him in. It was pitch black if not for the feint ethereal shimmer of her skin. She settled back on her bed of pillows, curling tail around herself.

Malachai strolled in, content in the pitch dark, tail perked as a shepard's crook. "What's the hubbub, baby?"  

[Azana Brown]

Violet giggled, her chestnut hair now opened cascading in waves after a short shaking out. She stood, looping the hair tie around her wrist, and vanished into the kitchen to make some fresh tea for Kiran as he worked on sketching and shading.

Azana waved to her, setting out a third mug on the way out. In the doorway, she stopped, walking back and getting a fourth and fifth. "Big pot."

"It means to make small adjustments," Tyler replied, glancing over to her. "Even if its functional, there's almost always room for improvements. Nothing's perfect."

Sosol arrived downstairs, as well...the reason for one of Azana's two extra mugs. "Haven't missed anything important, I hope."

"No drink orders yet...there's a rather gloomy demon girl upstairs; I think you and Az know her somehow. She's been burned; there's a plan to try the unicorn horn on it to see if it'll work." Tyler reported it all, still typing.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yep." agreed Remy, rifling through his papers. "Enjoying the aftermath of a really good day in a big way as usual, Sol!"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel whimpered softly, she felt better in the dark. Less to look at, including herself- despite the glow. "I- I don't know what to do- I'm at a complete loss. I'm scared, hungry, hurt and so very, very tired. W-what am I supposed to do?"

Kyou perked up, "I'm learning about the marvels, robot and communication for them." And attention back to Tyler, "How can you look away and still move your fingers accurately?"

Her phone began to sing about dancing in the rain. Rolling under a table, weaving herself into the legs of the chairs, she answered, "'Ello, Ignus. Wha's on 'our 'eart?"

Mal warbled, spreading his wings, radiating coziness. "What's worst? We can fix it a little at a time."  

[Azana Brown]

"That's excellent news," Sosol smiled, glancing from Honey to Kiran to a small commotion in the kitchen. They finally settled on Remy's papers. "What's all that...new paintings in progress?"

"A lot of schools teach typing," Tyler answered her. "You learn where the keys are and what fingers are most efficient for hitting them. After a few lessons, they start emphasizing not needing to actually look at the keyboard. You just know."

He looked up to her, stopping for a second. "I can go for a break, if you want my full attention."

Violet ran her fingers through her hair as she waited on the kettle to whistle. She looked down to her lightly rumpled sleeves...why had she rolled them back down? She wasn't cold...

I guess I'm still a bit ashamed of them...I know I shouldn't be...but...

"Nope...start of the next big problem." hummed the vampire, offering a baleful portrait of the future.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her ears went down, wiping her eyes as her tail wrapped around her- amongst the pillows she nearly disappeared, "I'm tired because I'm hungry... I've gone too long- I keep wanting to feed but all I feel is sick at the thought. I'm afraid I'll hurt someone before I fall into a hibernation."

Honey's popped up on a chair and promptly she and it fell over. She laughed but continued talking.

Kyou nodded, "I have many more questions if you are willing to answer."

Kiran chuckled, looking up at the ceiling, shaking his head. Ah good times.  

[Azana Brown]

Sosol gazed on it, feeling the familiar pressure of his mental dampers at work. "What are these drawings, Remy...?" He asked, preferring to avoid a vision in front of so many. "How did you learn of them...?"

"Sure...I'm not incredibly busy," he answered, letting what he had changed of the coding compile. He turned his chair a little to face Kyou's. "I'll do what I can, but it's difficult to explain technological marvels without using technical terms."

Azana blinked, noticing her husband's distress. Was something wrong? And why would it involve Remy...? Sol...

Violet poured the steaming water into the teapot, smiling as the water already began to shift colors. She took a whiff of the vapors, letting out a contented sigh. Kiran would like that.

He sat on the edge of her bed, tail curling slightly. "Well, then, I can get you food."

Remy sighed. "King."

Kyou had questions from before. Crossing legs on the seat of the chair and resting hands on knees, Kyou would take a breath knowing exactly what was to be asked. Is there a too close to the... television? I tried asking it but it says nothing when the light is off. There were so many things to look at- I thought getting closer would help but all I saw were little colored circles. I do not understand those. How does that black rectangle work. I understand you press the little circles down and the television does something. Some were gray screens but I cannot hear what they say as it seems to resemble ash and snow. I hit the circles a few times and naked people appeared! And then the sponge and starfish came back on. I do not like the loud shows- or the ones with words and people waving their hands. But also why do none of the real people talk back? They ask questions and I answer them but they do not give recognition

"I can't ask you to do that for me. It would look bad for you to help me. I'm a much lesser demon than you," she mumbled, leaning towards him. "I cannot pay anyone or offer them anything as I.. I have to separate my estate from my elders. I- It will take time. I can't ... I can't inconvience you with that not this on top of it all." She wanted to lean into him and be miserable, wanted to curl into a ball and just give up. But Bleghabie.
